Will never walk around big game hunting with one in the chamber. And neither will a client of mine, have had some pretty heated arguments about this in the past. Too many things can go wrong. Thought I’d share some of our success in 13b this year. It was a phenomenal year for antler growth and we’re sure looking forward to the rifle hunts. Good luck to all with tags this year.

The big 3 was a BIG buck!! Seen him plenty of times and plenty of video. Hope that’s how it ends!

Looking forward to reading the conclusion. And for everyone asking about the deer density, he hunted the two places with the highest deer density on 13b. Go anywhere else and it gets tough to turn bucks. Not saying it’s a bad thing because we hunt the same stuff from time to time. Just saying Black Rock and Dellenbaugh have a ton of deer. Now back to the show!

We had 4 tags up there, killed 3 bucks 215-240 and the last guy stuck a 220+ in the shoulder. The best year 13b will ever see.

I had a NR put in for it with 18pts and no luck. There was some serious point creep this year.

I’ll be willing to bet it took 16pts this year to draw 10 as a Res in the bonus pass. Maybe even 17.

The biggest question I think is how many points do you have RimCountry350?

FS Zeiss 10x45 RFs Ive gotten ranges 1700+ with perfect conditions and out to 1300 in any condition. Have been heavily used in the last couple years but still in great shape. I just bought a new pair of the Zeiss ranges so these gotta go. The main reason I went with these VS the others is the range button is on the right side making it easier to range while bow hunting. 1300$ OBO Text is best. 928.925.3437 Happy Hunting Bob

Congrats on the tag! I’m up here now and have been for over a week and will be till we kill something. Hopefully all these storms stop for you, been raining every day. Lots of water in most all the ponds, everything is green and beautiful. The bucks are down from most years. Find a buck ya like and torch him!! Best of luck happy hunting

We had an absolute great year on the strip. It started with my own archery tag where I was able to arrow my dream buck. GIANT typical frame with big mass and a couple extras! My good friend and guide Joe was able to kill his best buck on the rifle hunt. A friend had found this buck early on opening day and the rest is history. Joes highly anticipated Strip hunt was over within hours. Congrats Amigo!! 12yr old Kalia hunted with me and we were able to find her target buck just after first light opening day but he just wouldn't stay still. He rutted 3 different bunches of does and was moving all day with us right on his heels. Kalia finally got her opportunity right before dark and made a great shot standing off a triclawps at 250 yards to anchor her BIG Strip Buck. Congrats Kalia, hope to hunt with you again!!
