I am looking at getting a new rifle this year and let me start by saying I sold my 300RUM and I am looking at having Gunwerks build me a new rifle but the $8300 price tag is hard to swallow. I would like a rifle set up to shoot out to 1000 yards (not that I will shoot that) and I am interested in the set up they offer. My other option would be set up my wife's rifle 7mm RUM with a new scope and extra work. Just wondering if you guys have any advice for me, good or bad, still shopping and just trying to get some education. Thanks, Andy

Here you go, just got off the phone and was told by another officer that "He would have taken that deer from us if we were on a whitetail hunt, It's a mule deer" I just asked how with this deer, who cares what the horns look like. I just wish someone with AZGFD could give us a answer!!!!!!!!!

I spoke with a game and fish officer and measured the gland he will be a whitetail, congrats to Shaun you hunted this buck hard and it paid off

Well spent sometime out this past week and couldn't help but shoot this buck when he gave me a chance. Not my best but it will leave me time for other things this year and he will be very yummy. He is a 3 by 3 with eye guards about 18" wide. Just hope I get my elk tag this year Thanks, Andy

East of Camp Verde just east of Fossill Creek Rd north side of 260 alond West Clear Creek, we got into 12 in there last year, one day hunt on second weekend, just keep on the glass, you will find them Good luck Andy

Well he is a 26M buck close to home is hard to beat, and I think I am going to pass on NM this year, looking at doing a long road trip and archery hunting MT,WI and MO all on the same trip. Just making a big loop and hunting every chance I can this year for some whitetail. Added a pic of my MT buck last year with a rifle I am already pumped to head out

Well spent the last week up in Montana and got on some nice bucks, a lot of wind and open country but had a blast with the old man

My youngest filled his first elk tag yesterday in 6A, What a Blast, we had elk around everyday and we were in some great bulls and some good rutting activity all weekend. We also saw 45 antelope water at a tank saturday afternoon, Friday the wind got us and some other hunters but we hunted hard and everything came together Sunday morning, got into a area we had hunted in the pass and we had 20 plus bulls screaming a good 45 minutes before light so we waited till it got light enough and started glassing, we had elk everywhere, we worked into the wind and he connected on a 175 yard broadside shot and she went down, it was a blast hope everyone had a good weekend as well. have hunted it twice, late hunt one time and with the kids the next I will try to send some pics when I get home, you will see a TON of deer, just hold out for a good buck, lots of sage and rim rock
