I've not had a blind taken but I've had people definitely use one we had set up for a elk hunt . Found the guys hat inside when I went to pull it down . I've had plenty of cameras taken when we could run them . Most were secured to trees in lock boxes . I've made it a new habit to run a heavy cable and lock thru the hubs and around a tree . It won't stop the dedicated thief but it will stop the opportunistic . Two things I hate most is a liar and a thief. Try a post on Facebook and see if anyone knows something.

22 is a tough unit to hunt with out the means to get around. There's plenty of good hunting but you need a quad or sxs to access alot of it unless your planning on some good hiking. But at the same time I've seen deer and elk in easy to get to places that are not even on the radar. Always have a backup plan and a backup for that .

Congratulations on a nice deer . Great write up . Nothing like time with family and friends in the woods.

Don't pay much attention to Jake Paul. What's out on him is he can box some but don't want to get in the ring with a real boxer in there prime . He seems to find the older guys and it's usually all about the show . I'm going for Tyson . Hopefully he knocks Paul out . Even at his age Tyson packs a punch . It's going to be about stamina if it gets past a few rounds and that might play into Paul's advantage.

Try a bunch out and see what your comfortable with . Absolutely go to a reputable archery shop and have them size you for draw length . It's definitely important your bow fits you correctly . No offense to anyone but bass pro or cabelas is not a place to get fitted for a bow! Archery headquarters, ross,bear mtn ,are just some of the reputable archery shops I'm sure I'm missing some but you get the idea.

For the guys with little guys or girls what did you buy . I'm down to the last gun for the giveaway and thought I'd see if anyone has the good or bad between these two. I'm probably gonna pick one up Friday.

Once ammo is out for delivery it's gone . They will not pick it back up if it's delivered to the wrong address which plays into the theft part . My friends mom had some dropped at her door they don't have guns . Tried to get them to pick it back up and they told her no. She didn't even know it was ammo lol . I told her it was ammo 7.62 x 54 r and she said I could have it . I sold it here and sent her the money.

Gotcha it's almost 6lbs all dressed out vs the 3 or so of the standard. I hadn't thought of it as a carry / hunting offhand gun but a bench or tripod training setup. Working the bolt ,saftey, and using a scope for target acquisition. It's been a long time since my daughter was that size. It goes fast as they grow like weeds.

Anybody have a set of medium hight 1inch dia scope rings not being used they'd donate to the kids giveaway for next year? The guns are already bought and one needs rings . Thanks

Sportsmans only showed lefty models . I was able to order from bass pro even though there discontinued and have it sent to the store at no charge. It's kinda a good option as I had to order youth / compact shotguns because nobody had any instock . It took about a week but no extra shipping or ffl charge.

Any word on what unit Shockey drew? I've asked around but nada so far.

Nobody has the rascal xp in stock .Bass pro / cabelas is discontinuing them . I was able to order one and have it sent . Thanks for everyone's input. It should be here next week and then I can give everyone the rundown on the guns for the next giveaway.

Dang you guys stole my leftover tag ! Iidk yet but I forgot to mail my app till Monday . Actually I forgot what day of the week it was and figured I still had time . When every day is Monday they all blend in.

Had the 6a muzzleloader hunt a few years back . Parked the trailer Tues sunny and clear . My dad finally got in and we headed up for the hunt and it was blowing snow. Nice 14 degrees and ice and snow . Dad gets drawn and it's 60s every year. Anyway it froze the water in the trailers for 4 days . 50 gallons in mine and a hundred in my dad's toyhauler.

Sure with a Mac truck then back up and make sure I got it good !!!!

Currently at 292 and counting !!! Just 17 away from taking the house as of last update .

I bought my daughter the same gun when she was little it shoots !!!

The sad part of this is the dems and much of the so - called news can't figure out what went wrong. They played every card they could to get her elected . She's a woman ( debatable) ,she's black . Trying to gain votes . She lost because she had no chance. She stood for nothing and flipped and flopped her stance on everything. She stood for the same as Brandon and even he would have lost . He might not have known it till he was awake .
