He's got a coues tag for that unit. Elk,anelope, turkey ,and sometimes a mule deer I can usually find where we usually hunt . Not so much on the coues tho.

Going to check out a camp chief woodwind pro 34 with the side kick . It seems to check all the boxes . It has a fire box ash dump,and a pellet hopper dump . With the side kick I could sear or run as a flat top. Next is the rectec it seems to be another with great reviews . It might need some options to make it perfect. It doesn't have all the extra dump features of the camp chief. And last is a Yoder . I really would have thought the trager was the best option as they sell the crap outa them but they seem to have lots of issues 😕 .I'm definitely going to check these 3 out and go from there .

My buddy is building a 338-06 if it ever gets done. It's been called the poor man's magnum. His build is north of a year at the gunsmith. He wouldn't listen to me and take it to Phoenix custom or axis works . He went to magnum Mike's and is sorry he did . I figure I'll get my stock from manners and have axis works complete my rifle before his is done.

So much for a easy change . Looks like I'll need to check out the BBQ store by the house and see what they have that's been recommended by you guys and go from there. Lots of things I would not have known but now I need to research before making a decision .

Sportsmans had a 3 pack of cameras for a hundred bucks . Comes with batteries and SD cards . Stealth cam 16 Meg. I ordered 2 of the 3 packs and sent them to my dad's buddy in Texas.

I do have a wish list of things I'm looking for. Ammo in 308,7-08,22lr,or20gauge/ basic packs / anything hunting related and appropriate for kids . I'm in gilbert Thanks Chris

You could always donate to the youth giveaway ( contests and giveaway section )and put the money to good use. Way better than any political fight.

The 308 and the 7-08 went to Axis Works yesterday for Eric and the guys to do there magic .

The 243 will do but the 06 is definitely better . You can try some hornady lite recoil rounds in the 06 . It will be a little more bullet weight and a bigger dia than the 243 . Get him use to the 06 with the lite rounds for bench work and sight in and then run the 150s to hunt . Most hunters don't feel or hear the shot when shooting at a animal. If he's still not comfortable I've got a 6.5 Creedmoor with a break on it or a 300wm with a break that shoots just as soft as the 243 I'd lend you for his hunt.

Machinists trick to tighten a o/s hole is a simple steel bearing and a tap with a hammer . It can close a hole in some hard material so start with a few soft taps and work your way up till you get what you need.

Your anoide rod that goes in the hot water tank is usually once a year . Some are 6 months depending on lenght and use . You can clean the tanks with bleach. There is a mix ratio water to bleach . Make sure to run your pumps and any water sources to get the bleach and water into everything . Usually it's a 24 hour process . Then drain it all and flush it out and you should be good to go . Make sure to fill the water tanks to the top for best results.

No I'm not associated with them . I'd love to help out with some of the camps and they are always looking for help. My current schedule limits what I can do. I'm up at 11pm for work 7 days a week till about 1230 in the afternoon. I wish I had more free time but at 83 hours a week I can't commit to much . I'm looking into the suggestion for a go fund me page . Just need to verify no stance on a2 items . If I can run with it I'll donate all leftover equal between the kids elk camp and the deer camp. My buddy Chuck is in the elk society and gave me a name and number to call I think his name is Steve.

Things I'm looking for 4 rifle cases - down to just 3 cases Ammo in 308/ 7-08/ 20 gauge/ and 22lr 3 Basic range finders 3 kid sized simple packs Or anything you'd think the kids should have in there packs. I'm open to any donations !! It all goes to the kids!
