I didn't get the opportunity to hunt till later in life . If I can give some kids the opportunity to experience the outdoors and what hunting has to offer its money well spent .

I was impressed with the axis for sure . My buddy got one for his wife in 7-08 . After some trigger work and a decent scope they just flat shoot. Now it was running custom hand loads I'd made up for my gun but for my buddy who hardly shoots a rifle to put 3 shots out into one hole with all touching was impressive. But for smooth actions and good trigger right outa the box it's tikka all the way .

For the money you can't go wrong with the ruger american go wild edition . Comes with a rail for mounting a scope trigger is good and threaded barrel for a suppressor it does come with a break and is cerakoted.

Only use the sxs for travel into or out of some places. It is used for haul out on elk for sure . I'd agree about some sxs used in the woods . There are alot of clubs and such that run trails with big groups and most will have radios blasting or piped for performance. I don't think it's the average hunter making all the noise most go slow and are looking for the elk or deer that seem to just appear and disappear. I do miss my 2000 Honda 350 rancher it was quiet 🤫 and great on Gass putting around but enjoy the ability to get in and out with my dad and his buddy for elk and such.

Absolutely true ^^ back when we could run cameras I'd usually be out in the woods about every 3 or 4 weeks checking things and replacing salt and minerals. It was always fun to find a new spot and see just what may be hitting. The big downside was the cost of all the stolen cameras and broken lock boxes. I've had as many as 6 taken at one time. I don't get the time I use to have to go out In the woods due to work doubling my schedule for the week. I do miss the excitement of let's see what we got here but like that it's not costing me a few hundred bucks in stolen gear . The op has a point the ban has probably taken alot of guys outa the woods a little more than normal and I can see how there could be some downside to it but you can and should do some pre scouting before your hunt.

I need to make sure they don't have a ban on a2 items . Usually you have to disclose what your looking for and how you plan to use funds . I did set up a separate bank account last year for zelle and put a few hundred bucks in it and as soon as it had opened the bank shut it down due to several attempts to access the account.

I'm usually a bright and shiny buyer. With my time so short I needed to get as much done in as short a time as possible. Coming home with 5 guns and some binos and the bill for 2700 bucks will get your wife's attention . She understands why I do this and loves the idea but she usually sets a limit for me.

There from my California pig I shot over father's day last year . I took it to gilbert butchery for processing.

You should see Christmas time potluck. It's crazy with food . I'll usually make a 22qt roster full of elk chili . Some don't know what's in it . Some ask how many animals are on the table . In a shop with hunters you never know . Elk ,bear,javalina, dove and quail are the norm.
