Ill second axis works .I had them install a break on the 1903 springfield I donated to premote youth hunting and they did a great job.It made the 30-06 tame enough that the winner a 13 year old could shoot with no problem.They are quick at turning them out and I got the gun back in just a few weeks .with the blend to the barrel seamless.

The break will change poi but for recoil reduction they can't be beat.The drop in recoil is around 40% give or take.I had my buddy's wife that had only shot a 22 at the field day shoot a 243 no break and she didn't like it then shoot a 30-06 with a break and she was dialed in and shootin x rings .She took her first cow elk with it .Hearing protection is a must !!!

The few elk I've seen when out camping looked healthy .Two in 6a a few weeks back and 3 over the holidays in 22 .6a was a spike and a cow and 22 was two cows and a small bull still in velvet right in the road by shoofly headed to water.The bulls were small but healthy and the cows were on the full freezer side .

I've got a glock g20 and like it but also have a redhawk 44 mag short barrel and the glock usually wins .It is lighter and holds more rounds .My buddy has the springfield and likes it .Bolth revolver or semi work well its all about what your most comfortable with .

It a messed up world we live in.If we are going to change the age to 21 to buy guns than we need to be realistic and stop calling our 18 year olds adults.WE need to take there ability to vote,and to serve there country as they are not adults and can't be bound by legal contracts as juveniles.The kids of today are not as self reliant as we were brought up to be.Most of us had jobs at 16 and drove to work.This generation didn't get the education we got .Schools had classes such as wood and metal shop,auto and more to prepare our young for the world around .Now we don't teach respect or responsibility or job skills .My daughter is 20 and was bullied her whole school years as she has some learning disabilities .But at no time did she ever think I'm going to shoot up a bunch of people .She's been around guns her whole life and has her own guns a 22 rifle and I've got a ar15 for here that she helped build .There are more than enough guns in my house to do such things .But she was brought up to know better.Our society has changed and there is no real value given to life with all the games and movies and social media showing berry little reason to value anything.Its one of the big reasons I'm for teaching kids about guns ,not just saftey but what they can do!! Also getting them off all that crap and in the woods .Hunting teaches respect .Respect for guns,animals,and each other.

Working on it .e-filed feb14.But that is not going to do anything .Look at how many of these people passed background checks with no problem .Do you really think the added wait will stop anything?California has a ban on just about everything you can imagine and you have the registration for California and bullet button guns and 10 round mag restrictions .Do you really think they help.The stamp is just a guy at the atf looking at your paperwork and doing the same type of check .It just takes a long time and cost more.You can't fix crazy people by punishing the masses of law abiding people.You take away a 30 round mag and they will just carry 3 ten rounders .Reloading is no big deal to most and for the second or two there is no real gain or loss of much time.

And that would stop what? The guns were sold thru legal stores and passed background checks as required by law .so that won't work .

You guys are getting off cheap its $90 bucks every 4 days for my jeep and a half a tank of diesel in the truck was 112. The other day .I've got a pig hunt in California in a few weeks and I'm hauling my trailer up.Its like 700 miles one way .I figured around 6.50 a gallon for diesel in California.It was surprising fuel was cheaper in payson over the weekend.

I was out this weekend and finally got to Cronograph my 7-08 and its shooting above barnes velocity .Here are the gun and load specs. Custom 7-08 brux #5 26inch barrel work by Phoenix custom rifles. Lapua brass trimmed to spec 140 gr ttsx barnes 45.6 gr r17 middle of the recommended charge weight per barnes Federal mag primer Coal is 2.755 2.165 to the olgive Bullet seated .05 from the lands as checked with a Hornady gauge. Labradar has me at 3026 low and 3042 high . I'm not getting any pressure signs but barnes has 47.8 gr r17 as a high and 2910 for velocity.I'm no where near max but above the speed .The gun groups outstanding if I do my part but that seems way fast given the charge weight.Anything to worry about or run it up the ladder and see what it gives me for max?Accuracy always trumps speed but this seems fast .

Saw a show on one of the outdoor networks that did just that.Teachers were put thru training in real world drills then certified to carry on campus.My dad being a gun instructor is real admit that this is the best solution.California did the only one entry and metal detector thing along with guards at the only entry point and kids still figured out how to get around this.Training the teachers is the best possible solution .It lets those that would do harm think twice about going to schools .As it sits now they are weapon restricted zones and a place for easy targets.I'm a firm believer in the best solution for a bad guy with a gun is the good guy with a gun doing everything he or she can to stop the threat.

Sad thing is that they just want more restrictions and laws that they will not enforce with real punishment.Felons with guns do not serve the time required by law because they get out for good behavior and we don't have a place to stuff them.Add to that all the mental health issues and lack of help and its just a horrible environment.Kids don't get the discipline we did growing up and most are tied to there games and phones and all the social media crap .It wasn't like this when I was growing up .Kids went out and played and had real lives not all the current crap they think is real.
