At 84 bucks a pig tag you can shoot as many as you can afford .I have just 1 pig tag.

I got up at 2am Sunday with the trailer all packed and headed to paso Robles California for a pig hunt.The hunt starts Tuesday and runs for 3 days.Already saw some blacktail deer and a flock of over 100 turkey this morning on my way in to meet with the lady I booked my hunt thru.Hunt starts at 430 am tomorrow.

I remember when .I remember when you could walk into any gun store and find a wall full of them .Some still in the wrap and grease.They were right next to the enfield all for under a hundred bucks .Great guns GLWS.

Like I said the next guy in line with with the points that should get the tag gets bent over by the guy that paid more for the point guard plus and he didn't even get a 💋 or some lube.

Point guard was already being used to cheat the system .By not making all the people on the app turn in the tags .Making the odds of people paying to put in with high point holders a new way to do things only to have the high holder to back out and try and sell there high point total to the next group that wants to pay.Now with the plus it screws the guy that might have a sh*t ton of points and a lot of time invested getting screwed by the guy that might not have near the points but has the $$$ to pay the extra for the plus.Most of the high point holders are of the older age just baised on the time it takes to reach the level of being close to drawing some tags.I would bet a lot would be fixed income and probably be pissed with the thought of loosing a tag to someone with nowhere near the points just because they paid more

Ill second axis works .I had them install a break on the 1903 springfield I donated to premote youth hunting and they did a great job.It made the 30-06 tame enough that the winner a 13 year old could shoot with no problem.They are quick at turning them out and I got the gun back in just a few weeks .with the blend to the barrel seamless.

The break will change poi but for recoil reduction they can't be beat.The drop in recoil is around 40% give or take.I had my buddy's wife that had only shot a 22 at the field day shoot a 243 no break and she didn't like it then shoot a 30-06 with a break and she was dialed in and shootin x rings .She took her first cow elk with it .Hearing protection is a must !!!

The few elk I've seen when out camping looked healthy .Two in 6a a few weeks back and 3 over the holidays in 22 .6a was a spike and a cow and 22 was two cows and a small bull still in velvet right in the road by shoofly headed to water.The bulls were small but healthy and the cows were on the full freezer side .

I've got a glock g20 and like it but also have a redhawk 44 mag short barrel and the glock usually wins .It is lighter and holds more rounds .My buddy has the springfield and likes it .Bolth revolver or semi work well its all about what your most comfortable with .

It a messed up world we live in.If we are going to change the age to 21 to buy guns than we need to be realistic and stop calling our 18 year olds adults.WE need to take there ability to vote,and to serve there country as they are not adults and can't be bound by legal contracts as juveniles.The kids of today are not as self reliant as we were brought up to be.Most of us had jobs at 16 and drove to work.This generation didn't get the education we got .Schools had classes such as wood and metal shop,auto and more to prepare our young for the world around .Now we don't teach respect or responsibility or job skills .My daughter is 20 and was bullied her whole school years as she has some learning disabilities .But at no time did she ever think I'm going to shoot up a bunch of people .She's been around guns her whole life and has her own guns a 22 rifle and I've got a ar15 for here that she helped build .There are more than enough guns in my house to do such things .But she was brought up to know better.Our society has changed and there is no real value given to life with all the games and movies and social media showing berry little reason to value anything.Its one of the big reasons I'm for teaching kids about guns ,not just saftey but what they can do!! Also getting them off all that crap and in the woods .Hunting teaches respect .Respect for guns,animals,and each other.
