My ar15 is at 1.2# the ar10 is 2# and the rest from 6.5 thru 338 are from 8oz to 3# depending on rifle and caliber.Most in the 3# range are waiting for triggers to get them into the 1 to 2# range.

Put in for a leftover 4b tag .No points to loose as we were drawn last year so no big deal and a bad day in the woods is still way better than a good day at work .Besides I can do some antalope scouting for the tag I hope to draw before I die or have 30 years of points .

A good quad or sxs is recommended for 6a or just a truck you don't give a crap if you bang it up some spots are difficult to get to after the fires that went thru .There are several places that require some tight squeezes and the spots don't have to be overly hard to get to .I've got a video I posted stuck between cows and cows and can tell you that spot is along a trail that people will pass up .Myself and several friends have taken some good bulls off it and my dads muzzleloader bull a 6x7 was taken less than 2 miles from there .My family and I usually will be up camping in April or May and a few hours in the sxs will give you a good start .my muzzleloader bull elk.I've tried 3 times to rotate pic and it comes out the same

Looking for donations to put a muzzlebreak on a 1903 springfield 30-06 I plan to donate to our youth for the next year .My plan was to have our youth submit a what hunting means to me .and have a majority thumbs up vote and the winner will receive the gun .I've already installed a new vortex scope but could use some help to cover cost of a break to make it more comfortable to shoot.also a good Smith to do the work as Phoenix custom rifles can't do blue finish.here is a pic of the rifle I'm donating.thanks chris I added some new current pics!!!

Its crazy I bought 4 of them and obviously the first was junked due to the heights being so far off on the 2 piece mounts .They were like .100 thousands off front to back .Then Keith installed a 1 piece egw mount and I had one of the other new scopes mounted and it was like the gun just wouldn't shoot .After talking with Keith and checking every screw and mount .I just figured it's the scope and a laser bore sight showed the cross hairs shifting in the scope.So I went with a new leupold a much better scope and it started to track in .Funny thing is I put the same vortex on my 7400 30-06 semi auto and no problem at all.Makes me want to send them all back .

Two vortex scopes junk .1 new leupold 3x9 cds and the gun is finally tracking the bullets in and shot a decent group!!! The 3 shots in the center are the last 3 shots today.I can tell you this thing has been kicking my butt.I'm glad it shoots and I can't wait to see who wins.

I've got the smaller version 4.2 barrel magna ported makes for a great backup for hunting.

Get a map of the unit for starters.You want one that shows forest roads and water sources.Look up your area on Google earth it will show water and possible places to look .Then just get out and spend time in the unit glassing and looking for elk. Maps plus or flatline are good maps also it takes time in the unit to figure out where they are and where they can be when the time comes to hunt. But time in the field is paramount to having any luck.

Hopefully I can get it to shoot a good group today after work .I got with boarman03 and scoped the barrel last week and it's a 4 groove and is deceiving the rest of the gun is in great shape but the bore had lots of build up in it .Fingers crossed it groups some 150s today after a good 3 or 4 hours of scrubbing out the crap in the barrel.If for some reason it won't shoot worth a crap ill give the winner the option to choose to try the rifle for themselves and or pick from a remington 7400 semi auto or a winchester modle 70 .The point is to give the kids a gun that will shoot .I 'll post new target results as I can .

Check craigslist I sold lots of my saltwater fishing gear there and what was left I traded my dad for a ruger redhawk 44 mag.There are a lot of guys fishing salt in this state and stuff pops up from time to time.

Anybody turn him in to g and f yet as there are several posts about hunting and tags not to mention the possible felon in possession .After reading the long list of charges and such he has lost his hunting privilege for 10 years ?

There's a list of charges if you look up his name and poaching.It was in 2020 I believe.

So if the guy is a poaching p o s and a felon why is there a post for a rifle in the classified? That's a felon in possession .That will get him instantly a free ride to jail .

Still paid way to much.
