My trip to California got me several new to me guns from my dad .one being his #1 in 300wm it has a ziess scope and he had a break installed .I hear they can be a pain in the butt to get to shoot anybody have any experience with loads for this and or tips or tricks to get it shooting good groups.

I've had the gun out for 1 range trip and it shows a lot of promise.The big setback for me is the position of the scope .I can't get a full clear view outa the thing and will need to order offset rings to move the scope around and clear it up .I've been busy with work and trying to get the youth giveaway gun all dialed in .its almost ready for bore sighting and a range day before I donate it.THE hicks must be what I've heard about .when I can find time ill order the rings and move the scope and give it another go .I'd be real happy if it shoots moa or less .THEY are such a beautiful gun and all wood and steal.

Hi viz makes a fiber optic magnetic sight I guess they call it .sticks on the rib in front of the bead and works great .I put one on my 870 and it helps me focus on the bead and target.

Quality is going to cost .What's that saying you get what you pay for.Good gunsmiths are not cheap and they usually have a wait to get things done but the wait is bacause they are good.I had a break installed on my 300 wm awhile back at a shop in scottsdale was a reputable shop till the Smith retired.needless to say my threads looked like they were cut with a dull paperclip it was a mess and I almost cut the end of the barrel to correct it.on the other hand I've had Keith at Phoenix custom do work on my gun and just picked up the youth giveaway gun from axis and am impressed with the level of detail and quality of work .not cheap but outstanding work.quality and it shows.

I also am going to miss all the great pics and weird things they catch not just animals doing people also do some crazy sh*t in the woods when they think no one is watching.My cameras are headed to the communist state of California where they are oddly still legal and my dad can run them.

Wright armory should be able to do it but they aren't cheap.

Don't know if they do .But I can tell you it people do get caught due to posting info ,pics,and such on social media sites .Just a friendly piece of advice is all .Again I think the ban is crap but I'm not going to post about breaking the rules .

It happened to me .not for elk but for javalina one year and I drew a 18b tag .I didn't even know where it was.it turned out to be a great experience I met Don Martin thru a mutual friend and had a great time .new unit new opportunity for experience.

At the rate you guys want to ban things you don't like or understand it won't be long before we all are hunting with rocks and slingshots .we don't need to give them anymore things to ban or ideas to cut our hunting.And for those who wish to post about breaking the rules please be aware that fish and game do monitor most social media sites it gets a lot of people caught each year.so if you do wish to run cameras I'd keep it quiet.I'm personally not against them as you have to still be there when the animals are there .

Absolutely !! I am looking for a rare limited edition us shooting team stock .there were only like 5 k guns made and the odds are definitely good its a scam

Was the barrel cut and set back? From the pics it looks as if the markings are upside down . just curious I haven't seen that done in awhile.

You gotta watch these guys with the suppressor talk it will get you in trouble quick.I just ordered 2 a 30cal and a 22 cal .$2200 bucks later I'm surprised the wife is still talking to me. But you get the best of both worlds less felt recoil and a lot less noise.

I've recently acquire a tikka m695 in 30-06 its got a super smooth action and a black laminate stock .keep it as is or build it into something better?I've already got 4 06s .any caliber suggestion with out having to change the bolt or mag.
