She's probably thought about it a few times . The guy is a jackass and did have a few close encounters with him . I did set him straight and let him know you don't do that crap to any woman especially my wife. Don't think roundup would fix that issue tho

My wife killed our neighbors with straight round up concentrate . The bottle is supposed to make x amount diluted with water . She just used it straight and no more oleander.

I'd love to be involved in this as a way to get kids involved in hunting ,shooting, reloading but my time is stretched so thin already. My long days at work 7 days a week for a 82/83 hour week leave me just 4 or 5 hours a day to get anything done . My dad use to teach classes on reloading and I can ask him if he's got any spare stuff that could be used if you go forward with this . Let me know and I'll talk with him

Made some great friends and had a great time helping on Aj's hunt . I'll let Dan tell the story hint it was a successful hunt.

Up helping Dan and his son Aj and came across some sheep.

Lost one early hunt in 6 a but another got bigger. Yep gonna be crazy for some! Get a tag and then deal with 100 or more extra tags in some units . It's going to get crowded in some places. Hunt where people won't usually go!

Lifetime of memories there . Good hunting!

Petition To Prohibit Hound Hunting In Arizona
Crazymonkey replied to Rharris's topic in The Campfire
Every thing has its place . Running dogs for lions may not be for some but that doesn't mean it's not necessary. A lion will kill once a week to feed. Then there's the kill because they can and it amounts to lots of game animals outa the population. Once a lion is in a area the deer ,elk tend to move . That would be enough for me to have no problem with dogs . Even if a lion is not killed they usually are pushed out of areas where they can have a huge negative impact . Just look at the 6a hunts . There was one lion spotted during the archery hunt and then two more for 3 total . That's 150 less animals a year for feeding plus what they kill for fun . Here's a young elk kill from the archery hunt . It all adds up. -
Hornady digital powder dispenser issues.
Crazymonkey posted a topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
So long story short I'm having issues with my powder dispenser again. It seems to throw charges .5 to .7 over no matter what I've tried . Powder is 4831sc so it should meter well . I always run a warm up and calibration before I start but it seems to consistently drop over charge. It's on the slow setting as I always run it there so it shouldn't be running to fast . It's definitely a bad time for it to take a crap! I'm heading back to unit 27 to help Dan with his son Ajs champ elk hunt on Wednesday morning. Dan has his rifle setup for Aj with a camera for him to be able to shoot . I was planning on bringing my 280ai as a backup should Dan need to make a shot . The 280ai is 9lbs all in my 7-08 is pushing 16 lbs . If anyone has a solution I'm all ears! If not I'm packing the 7-08. -

Razor has a micro fine adjustment . Two adjusters like my old model . The viper is just a single so I can probably see that . Mine was a replacement for a broken older model they didn't make any longer.
-
I've got the viper and my buddy has the razor and he can't tell the difference . The only thing I could see was the size difference the viper is bigger.

Things are coming together and it's looking like the kids are in for a great giveaway for next year!!! I've got a few ammo donations pending!! There's also a ground blind and hunting chair in the donation pool. STILL LOOKING FOR SMALL ITEMS!!!!! Any small items for packs ,any bird hunting stuff, deer or elk calls,or anything kid friendly and hunting related I'll have a list of all the great donations and who made them going up shortly so if you know these people you can thank them . -
Nice work ! That's a heck of a shot.

Sorry for the loss! I won't run the heater in the trailer all night . It's a good way to drain a battery in a hurry among other things . I run a open sleeping bag under the bed sheets and a few extra blankets in the cold . It's definitely a good reminder to check the monitors and replace them as needed . If your like me we tend to bounce the trailer down some ruff chit getting in spots to hunt . The dust is a big deal for your smoke detectors also and replace the battery once a year Stay safe !

5B area game processing and pack out service options?
Crazymonkey replied to Lucafu1's topic in Elk Hunting
No idea on pack out but definitely Casey's for processing! There's always southwest but they only run trailers on select late hunts due to harvest numbers to low to justify. There usually at the gas station by lake Mary rd . You'd need to call and make sure first.
