Well I finally got the modified case to check free bore for bullet jump and here is what I got for the 3 bullets I can run in California

6a has some nice lopes we've glasses them up on several elk hunts they tend to stay in the same basic spot and if you get enough elevation they are easy to spot but there out there a few miles

I'm not sure what class he shot ill have to ask him in November when we are hunting pigs in California.I do remember him trying to get my older brother into 22 comps but my brother couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.its funny to me cause he lived with my dad and I with my mom .he was around guns all the time and still can't shoot .my mom was anti gun so I never was around them till I bought my first gun a ruger 95 9mm at 26 or 27 followed by a 870 still have the 870 and a lot more!!! I'm a firm believer in if you have guns your kids need to know how to handle them and always be safe. Thanks dad for the guns

We were out sighting in my browning 30-06 and I just sat at the bench and he said give it a try the trigger is a little light .I started to come up on the scope and just brushed the trigger thinking 1 to 2 pounds and wham it went off .got a good laugh outa the old man .I did magage to put the next two in the same hole .

My dad did a lot of competition shooting way back in the day off hand at steel rams and such I was probably 5 then so 30 plus years ago and it was always fire formed neck sized brass for comps.I'm thinking the brass has come along way since then .I hope to get his ruger 308 comp gun some day .I only got to shoot it 1 time about 20 yrs ago crazy light trigger in ounces

I tend to run hornady or some rcbs dies I got with a bunch of reloading stuff from my dad all free he taught some classes on reloading at some point.but I went with a nice new set of rcbs dies for this as to insure they are not damaged from miss use .most of the free dies were pistol which is setup on a old layman six station single stage .run 44 on one side and 38/357 on the other my other press is a hornady single stage with the collet bushings for quick change

Weekend ☝ there free go take your kids hunting

Got in s wreck in the wife's car a few years back .rearended on I 10. Totaling the car .the 1991 Acura Integra was no match for 80s full size chevy truck .when I got outa the car the officer was already there and said to take a seat back in the car the meds were in route .sitting back in the car I saw my springfield trp 45 had flown from under the seat to wedged under the break petal and asked him to make it safe and hold it for me .after clearing the gun that's all he wanted to talk about .

Just an update lapua brass is in route and I should have in about a week .the modified case to check free bore is supposed to be delivered today .I pulled the action out of the stock and lightened the trigger pull timmney says will only go safely down to 1.5 lbs.I also loosened the scope and moved it back one full slot on the rail .so it looks more like a full field of view I hope the wife was upset I had a rifle sitting on the kitchen table pointed out the rear slider .she kept saying someone is going to call the cops.
