Telling someone not to sit/hunt around water for elk in AZ is like me telling someone not to hunt the last field holding corn for pheasants in ND. It just don’t make sense. although when I get my tag this year, I’m gonna be sad I can’t use cams to try and pattern them and see the quality using them.

Ever since I messed up on Sunday hunting has been tougher me, I could have shot a small buck at 43 yards this morning from my glassing spot he just stood there. I can’t seem to turn up the bigger ones I was hunting.

For sure, some people just don’t like to sit which I get.

Probably from one of the the thousands of people who have shot elk off water in September in Arizona.

Idk how anyone could immediately discount sitting water in September like the above poster.

one is a productive hunting style. And one is using a rifle on a handgun hunt. I wouldn’t say I’m upset, I do find the mental gymnastics hunters go through to justify an ar as a handgun is pretty hilarious though.

Well there was a time when such a thing just went unsaid. now people have no shame in this world and aren’t embarrassed to be using a rifle on a handgun hunt, a crossgun on an archery hunt, to be a tranny, etc.
