wanted one of them red horns but never saw any. Saw a few that were orange. I guess you gotta be in the other mountain range for those.

Thanks to member cmiller I got the contact information early on to get access to the bombing range, which makes it easier to get to the north part of the unit. Was able to get in there the weekend before the hunt and the second weekend. We didn’t see any rams the first weekend but the second weekend we saw 6.

Those are just some other rams we saw. We saw rams everyday except one. Between our group we saw 9 rams one day. Mostly all about the same size 150s. That one in the video was kinda cool looking we just thought he was too thin/young

Nah, I’m stoked. I knew any ram we got would be earned and we would be proud of. Most rams about this size, a couple bigger. He was down to grind till the end and eat the tag holding out for a big one. I’m only disappointed it’s over. But it wasn’t getting easier, it was only getting harder. I made the call he had to shoot it if given the opportunity. I just hope he likes it. He says he does
