isnt it not burning naturally the reason these so much fuel in the first place? Its hard to understand that the small town folks seem to think only they are responsible enough to use the forest. The rest of us are the tax base that pays the lions share of operations and maintenance cost right?If we start a fire here it burns our house down. It doesnt burn yours down. So naturally those that have more to lose than just the trees are going to be more careful. And were more inclined to want it closed so there isnt a fire no matter who starts it. yeah WSB is hard to beat, and true the fish mongers dont like buying grouper over 20 kilo, that one was probably about 20 kilo. just an average to small striper, maybe 110 lbs Did you keep it or release it, they are good smoked. Threw it back, I smoked one 2 years ago it was good.

I dont remember any road ever being closed down during a hunt where I hunt. And if a road closes to avoid burning a forest down that's fine. While you might follow the rules it's just a proven fact that just enough people from the valley wont follow the rules so they can't chance leaving it open. Too many people that have no emotional ties to the forests up here and if it burns down they'll just pack up and go home and go to a new spot next year. that feel when people from safford started the wallow fire though and a native from cibecue started the rodeo fire.

Who cares about the hunt lol. They're invasive species they need to go. Easy road hunting too like I like it.

I think I like the grouper better but I could be because I've ate 100lbs of yellowtail the last 5 months lol.

phil beavers is someones grandma apparently lol. all the way out of town, doing mach 3 with my hair on fire. but you do have to watch out for that speed trap in sonoyta thomc is talking about. theres a dude i seen online been killing the halibut and corvinas, i think he goes to the second estuary. using little 1/4oz jigs with a little swimbait trailer. Is he on a YouTube channel? Nah some dude on Instagram. he has been slaying corvina and halibut, 1/4 oz jig head with a silver little plastic boot tail swimbait.

+1 Or the 36A/B Jr. hunt, which is an 'any antlered deer' tag. Plenty of road hunting opportunities in 36A & 36B where you could come across either a whitetail or a muley on that hunt. S. that would really be sweet.
