No you don't. it is ok for 2nd to archery but if you are a true vertical bow guy I highly doubt you would ever prefer a x-bow! It is a good substitute for broken guys who love archery but that is about it. now that I have been on both sides I can say im slowly returning to rifle cuz at least it goes boom when I squeeze the trigger. This is a fine looking bow hope she sells for ya! considering the rut, i feel like crossbow should have a draw with limited tags since its as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.
