As dumb as it sounds I passed on a little better 3x3 that near this one but we wanted to get a better look at this one so we stalked in and were like "meh, he ain't great" but I thought what heck were all here im just gonna shoot it. I'm a sucker for a good hunt.

Btw I guarantee no one on this site can haul out a deer like bc777, dude is beast.

Had a really fun hunt this morning. shot a meat buck, was with my dad and friend bonecollector777, just felt right to choot that deer. He is 3x4 I'll post pics some time.

Say you glass a deer from a half mile but there's some guys 300 yards from the deer looking right into that canyon. Is it cool to just walk 50 yards from the other guys make eye contact with them then cross the hill into the canyo those guys are hunting, While being guided in with electronics from someone sitting 800 yards away? I mean if you're a paid guide of course. Just thought that was about the most unethical thing I've seen in a while. But maybe that's some gotta do to kill bucks. Worst part is it appeared they were with a female you. The classy part was flipping me off from 300 yards after a that. That's a way to show people how to hunt. I know I don't own the mountain but jeez

That's what it sounds like... I guess since your glassing the canyon you own it now? If the buck was 300 yards you should have shot or passed but to be mad because someone else shot is stupid.. Public land dudeI didn't want that deer, I was waiting for the other one that is 4x5 and wide that was in there to stand up. heck if he would have come down and spoke to me instead of rushing out in front of me I would have told him about the 4x4 that was in the draw next to it that was a better deer.

Like I said I passed on this buck 3 times, it was a 3 point. I also passed On the slightly bigger 4x4 that they kicked out when they were hustling to cut me off. but That's not the point.

Nah even on public land you should respect someone's space. Just cuz it's public doesn't mean it's no holds bar. Or maybe it does

Funny thing is they kicked out 2 WAY nicer 4x4's than what they shot, 3x3 I passed on him 3 times. Guess that's why they paid all the money for guide and a team of 6 or seven guys. Now there's a gut pole in my hole.

Well I got a story but I think I'll wait till I'm cooled off. Plus it probably needs a thread or 2 of it's own. But anyways I'm still hunting.

Thanks dude, ya I'm getting my head back in it. I got the whole hunt so I just gotta calm my crazy butt down and stay at it. I pretty much did everything wrong this morning lol. One of those days.

Lol. Well i didnt shoot the smaller one. I would have shot one of the other bucks I saw but they were all 3x3 or small 3x4. I kinda wish I would have since my confidence is 0 right now lol. I checked my gun it's dead nuts so no more long range for me

A female member got a nice buck this morning, maybe they'll post it up.
