go out and explore and find an area for yourself. theres plenty of public ground, this is arizona. if you go where people tell you, chances are its been called to beat heck anyway. just trying to help you out man.

just got my bull using a whisker biscuit, 2nd elk using a WB. complete pass through on 2 shots 64 and about 50yds with this last one. for hunting i cant see why anyone would use something different. i love how i can knock my arrow and not think about it making any noise at all. not to mention theyre cheaper.

sorry, but i dont get your post about not hunting them during the day. i dont do that much because its not that effective if they arent bugling. obviously no one wants to bump their elk out of the country but if theres a chance of killing one that way i would do it. youre right a lot of the posts on this sight are a joke, i get the feeling that only half the members even really hunt

ya i creeped up on 2 bulls right out of my camp day before the season opened. they were bugling like crazy at noon. theres just no way i could start hunting at 7 during an early season archery bull hunt.

youre kind of rubbing salt in the wound dude. no one wants to lose a bull then hear about how they made a bad shot when theyre confident they did. and thanks.

dude again i must ask, do you even hunt? an elk can take .300 to the pump house and walk off like it was never hit. i was fortunate my bull went down within sight but it easily could have walked 200 yards and i may never have found him, it was pouring rain and he didnt bleed. crap does happen sometimes.
