  1. None of it matters to me anyway...I just know everyone hates him so Its just fun to throw his name out. I had free lower level tickets to Cards game once and went to see what the hype is all about... You football fans are Freaks! Impressive dedication to say the least. Is it "jock" mentality that does it? I played and enjoyed sports in school but never on a team because of "jocks". Maybe the reason I can't get into it.

sorry you didnt get laid in high school.

  2. Flatheads aren't cute, and they don't come to greet me by the waters edge. If they did I might not eat them. Would you kill a wild deer that came up and ate out of your hand? I wouldn't.

comparing a flathead catfish to a deer? thats a stretch

So here is a secret no one really knows, the draw doesn't look at your license #.

Last year I did my mom's app and didn't know her license #, so I just put mine in. No problem, worked just fine.

Until the cycle there is another check/balance in place and it throws you out of the draw. They may not now, but there's no reason they can't track statistics on % of valid licenses and duplicates, lost money makes change.

Not saying your wrong, but I wouldn't trust it.

Trust it, the lady at azgfd in Mesa told me the same thing. Last year I made up a number for my dad's app and he was drawn for bull last year

  4. Glad you are getting your gun back.

My dad had 5 long guns stolen when I was young, probably about 10. They ended up finding 4 of the a few months later in a raid on a crack house in south phoenix.

He got them back but he nevery flet the same about them. They rarely came out of the safe after that.

The LEOs didn't return the magazines, which I heard is common. The weird part was one was a British 303, and it wouldn't chamber a round fully when we got it back. He took it to a smith and apparently someone, probably an LEO had pulled the bolt and unscrewed the bolt head a couple turns. It would close on an empty chamber, but not a loaded one.

The one they didn't get back was the one he was most upset about. It was one of the nicer fully engraved Browning BPS 12ga. It was his favorite dove gun.

makes you wonder where that one went.....

  5. When I had 35 guns stolen in 2012, we heard nothing from anyone after the initial investigation by a Pima County Sheriff's detective until a couple of years ago when Tucson TV newscasters reported that the dectective had been arrested. I don't know if he was found guilty or not, but he was charged with locating and reselling stolen property.

    Bill Quimby

    that is disgusting

  6. never could figure out how your body could possibly break down a protein shake after workout quick enough to aid in recovery. not when your body already has broke down amino acids in it ready to go for just such an occasion. dont drink your whey shakes, the only way to take whey is in cake form

  7. Watch the netflix documentary The Sixties........it will help you understand alot about why we are where we are today..........

The same hippies that were anti government back then are the same liberals that want government to control their life today it seems

They are great rifle never heard anything bad. Only thing I didn't was their muzzle breaks. I don't like ports on the bottom, kicks up dirt from prone

Ports on the bottom of a muzzle break???? That is a MAJOR design flaw.

really not that big of a deal in my opinion, certainly not major design flaw. the brake is removable on the browning hells canyon too

I pulled the rifle up on browning's site. It does sound like a nice rifle. I admit I have a strong dislike for breaks with ports on the bottom. Maybe it is my fault for being to lazy to carry a bag of powdered flavoring to add to the dirt I am about to eat. Also, I do not like a big cloud of dust blown up right in front of the objective lens of my expensive scope. If you zero with the brake on and remove it you are no longer zeroed. The opposite is also true. If the rifle is intended for long range field work wouldn't you expect to fire it prone? There are so many well designed without ports that vent to the bottom why mess with one that does? If I were to buy that rifle I would have to replace the brake.
I have a gun with a brake that has holes on the bottom, 300 weatherby. It never really bothered me that much. The muzzle blast sucks but you get that no matter what surface I'm shooting on. If it was that big of a deal for target practice, I would simply throw a blanket down. In the heat of the moment of the shot, I'm not gonna notice that. Optimally with holes on the side sure but say it's a major design flaw when there's a million rifles out there with similar brakes is kinda reaching

I'd get the 6.5 and shoot it without the brake on anyways

Yeah but camping with that hot chick would be even better

i just cant believe a grown 30 year old man hasnt been camping at least 1 night in his life.

  12. I get what hoghuntr is saying.

He has/had 2 similar/same rifles. 1 he bought from Rugerman for his wife. 1 was donated from 10Turkey.

He traded the one he purchased from Rugerman for a different rifle for his wife, but still has the gun from 10Turkey.

10Turkey calls and wants to get the gun back, but hoghuntr thought he was talking to Rugerman and told him he traded it for another gun for his wife. 10Turkey lost his sh*t, and made threats.

Hoghuntr didn't realize until after the fact that he had confused who he was talking to and had 10Turkey's gun the whole time.

Hoghuntr is willing to give the gun back with no issues, but doesn't really want to deal with the dude who made threats against him in person.

but why wasnt turkeys gun returned immediately when it wasnt used in the auction?

i guess it dont matter to me, i was just trying to figure out what he was saying.
