    Last week I had a 5x5 with 25-30 does and a 3x3 with a group of 4 does. This week, bucks are nowhere to found and does are all grouped up and scattered. No more than 10 to a group. Only saw 1 spike with 1 antler. I think maybe the weather front that hit us over the xmas holiday threw off the rut a tad. opinions?

    I know the entire story. This company is the worst I hAve ever heard of. I will let him tell you who if he wants, but 3 years and nothing touched. It was damaged and the owner did NOTHING to make it right.

    What type of company takes a deposit, handles a 90" plus buck with a bow, allows it to be eaten by rodents, never tells you, and takes 3 years. Ain't even my buck but my friend is better man than me. I would have knocked his teeth out as repayment.

    Before jumping to conclusions contact them. Sometimes website companies will get pics off the net. The website builder may not have known that that's a no no. You would think they would but.... The website may be new and the owners may not have realized, or if the company changed hands it may have slipped through the cracks and the new owners would maybe have no idea about it.

    I would hope the outfitter has looked at his own website, a pic of a ram they didn't help out on would stand out like a sore thumb

    1/4mile from occupied building, sometimes FS lands have other restrictions... 1/4mile from paved roads, etc...

    I have never heard of a 1/4 mile from a paved road?

     

    i read some crazy lady on FB saying she was reporting poachers saying you had to be 1/4 mile from the road. i had never heard of it but maybe there is a rule in some places???

    I started this topic to see what Sundowner Guide Service was about. I don't know who they are and I have never heard of them. What's funny is that they have a picture of me and my Desert Sheep on their website. I was not guided them nor did Sundowner have any part in my sheep hunt. Very interesting.

    That's pathetic. Did you contact them?

    I recently bought a ruger American predator in the 6.5.I put decent scope and rings on it , opened up the barrel channel so it would stay free floated on a bipod ( 30 minutes with a dowel and sand paper), put bipod and brake on it, and it shoots .75 moa or better groups consistently with factory ammo. Maybe I got lucky,but I know guys that have the same rifle with similar results. This rifle is a shooter! 350 for rifle,about 900 total is what I have into it.and it weighs about 8 pounds and barely recoil at all. Just food for thought, i am a savage guy as well.good luck with your search, 6.5 cm is a great round

    did you try shooting it first before messing with the stock?
