  1. I wonder if on his "podcast" Jay will talk about how it was actually the draw tag holder and his buddies that found Curly and to avoid further drama handed him over to the auction hunter at which time he flew in to kill the ram with IMO the rightful guides, but because Jay actually had the tag in his pocket he got to bring it to the hunter and take a picture with the ram in his pressed Kuiu even tho he really had nothing to do with the hunt

Why would the tag holder tell an outfitter about the ram why didn't they just shoot it if that was the case

  2. Where does this $32k valuation come from? In az its $300ish for residents and less than $2k for a non res to get a tag. How can you charge somebody that much money for accidentally killing an animal he could legally kill for a fraction of the cost? It did not cost the state an extra $30k to have a game warden drive out there and investigate and to file a couple court docs and give this guy 15 minutes in front of the judge.

This is way excessive and this guy got railroaded bad. That'll teach him to be honest with the government.

I had a lawyer tell me once, if you shoot an armed man in your home in the middle of the night, you call me first and the police second.

im glad its not that way, $300 isnt enough to detour a lot of people sadly.

    This the same ram?

    Colburn and Scott strike again...
Oh yeah I'm sure they spent the bulk of the time hunting this ram... Bulshite. Jay would step on his Mom to take a pic with this ram!

Pretty harsh words to toss out there. Jay never struck me as a man of this character. I think this deserves an explanation.

whats with people that come in just talking the biggest smack then give nothing to back it up?

  4. Same here respect a magnificent ram and let it go. If many of us on here were such sheep experts we would have been asked to come on the hunt. I am no expert because no one asked me to help. That ram may not be the biggest ram in the state but have you seen a more impressive ram? Maddglasser is as good of a sheep guide as anyone in this state. Again he has guided numerous sheep hunts in last few years and the results speak for themselves. Give him some respect even if you do not like him.

give respect to get respect, the dude was mean and this is the internet. no one said he wasnt a good hunter.
