I'm just gonna get a kit from a online dealer. They have full kits and instructions downloadable online. I'm thinking if it goes well they're gonna be a couple of Christmas presents

Shoot, at this rate just be glad it wasn't found inside a blind.

Rifle hunts I'm usually with my partner. Bowhunts are usually alone as my usual partner only rifle hunts. I like the alone time and have no issues with it in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks for sharing your awesome story.

Most if not all fencing in Az are barbed wire, as long as nothing is posted on the fence you should be good to go. Like stated abover there are maps online showing landowner ship. Also national forest maps will show private land as well for when your in the field as a reference if need be.

Great deal, FYI these beds soften up nicely after a week or so. My other half didnt like ours at first but now can't imagine getting any other kind of bed.

Learn to shoot your rig and it shouldn't be an issue. To each their own...

Shot new arrows, not what I expected ?
elecshoc replied to Norteno's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
If you're getting accuracy out of the straight fletched ones then stick with it. If you have a bow that is slightly out of tune then helical will stabilize it quicker but it comes at a cost. That centrifugal force he is talking about doesn't come from nowhere, it robs energy from the arrow thus causing the change in trajectory. It also makes them louder in air. You are correct in the lost of speed and depending on the fletching some sound, otherwise a setup that's more forgiving would seem optimal in this case especially since it seems he maybe a newer shooter. Otherwise he's at the mercy of the arrow if he ever makes a bad shot, especially out in the field on game. The trade off in fps would probably be minimal, I'm pretty positive he'll still would be well in range of the ke needed for any game in AZ.
