Thanks for the update. I appreciate this, good to hear your taken care up there. To those of us in none volatile areas it hard to imagine the repercussions of all of this and to be able to get a candid view from our sportsman's community is something I'm grateful and thank you for. These post are what I was hoping to learn and see from this thread. Right now its hard to work through all the partisan rhetoric coming from both sides to get a real view of whats happening in other parts of the country and world.

So all travel canceled for our company. No training trip to Vegas, plus the company I was training with emailed out that they won't be taking in visitors for the next few weeks. It was inevitable for both. Next stop this evening will be pets stores for food for the animals. Maybe gonna try a trip to safeway but we'll see how that goes.

Yeah went to Costco last night here in Tucson. Lots of people paper goods were out along with laundry soap. Were able to get some water. Luckily my daughter was able to get to frys earlier in the day to get some tp. I wouldn't call it mayhem, but it was packed. I'm sure by today there would be a lot more empty shelves.

So my nephew is going on spring break then from there he's online like most other schools at this time. My business trip to vegas in the air and most likely not gonna happen. Interesting on the house, we're closing on March 31st on our house. Just crazy timing that rates went down and we locked in a rate.

I don't about hoax, but the reaction to this now labeled pandemic will need to get better.

Yeah it's been wild to see how this has played out within just the couple of days of this post. Interesting read on the first days of the seattle hotspot and the testing issues they had along with the first responders to the nursing home care facility is nuts. Turns out the firefighters knew of the coronavirus results before the nursing home employees and thus they're the ones that stressed implementing the isolation protocols. They couldn't believe nobody informed the caretakers of the positive testing results.

Good to hear, there are now reports out of Socorro and Bernaillio counties in NM today. So keep on trucking because it looks like you're starting to get the squeezed in between virus locations.

Yes the media coverage has been quite short sighted on our shores, but the market meltdown didn't happen because americans ran on TP and water. The meltdown happened because markets reacted to the basic shutdown of China for the last month. To blame the market run on the US media is a little presumptuous on the power of the media. This is what I meant in the first post of the thread, the market fall out didn't start here. The market fall was a domino effect that started when China focused their efforts on containing this virus and not on production. On top of that Russia and the Saudis decided to make a run on production shares of oil and now we have real effects of the virus showing up here in real time. This is the real effect, not the projected all out doom that certain media outlets are projecting. This is what I wanted to discuss about here as well. If the virus keeps on track and becomes fully communal as it looks like it is. What are the effects of this and how is that impacting your life? We may complain and moan about the media all we want, it still not going to stop the effects from happening.
