What’s the barrel length on the Savage and does it come with the rail?

I’ll take 2lbs if the 4895 if you’re in the East Valley…

WTS - Tikka T3 RH Long Action w/Std. Bolt Face
Cambow replied to azsugarbear's topic in Classified Ads
Is this available for pickup in the valley? -
I’ll take the 284, 30-30 & 300 WM for $30 ea. but I can’t pickup until Monday after work. Are you okay with that? If so, what are your cross streets?

Any chance you have 243 or 284 Win dies?

I have been into shooting all my life and done a lot of reloading over the years. I'm pretty familiar with all of the little nuances to make sure I'm loading for accuracy. I am just starting to get into the long range game and I am loving it so far... but here is my question: Does a tiny difference in powder charge (less that a tenth of a grain) really make a big difference in POI at long range? I have always thrown powder with a RCBS Uniflow and it seems like everyone is metering charges with the likes of the Chargemaster units or similar powder measuring devices. Is this really necessary? Any thoughts on this from veteran long range shooters?

Thanks for the response... I really appreciate it and that was supposed to be POI... my mistake! -
Last time I looked, there were a few of these on Gunbroker.

Reloading for Long Range Question

When I mentioned a tenth of a grain... I was thinking of how a charge is right on the edge and kinda teetering on the measurement. That being said... is a tenth of a grain a deal-breaker at 100 yards plus? -
Thanks for the reply... unfortunately, I only get up that direction about once every two years. Best of luck with your sale!

Looking for a lightweight hunting rifle in 6.5 CM. Would prefer a Tikka... but possibly open to others if they are well-built accurate rifles. I don't need a scope as I have one ready to mount. I was about to buy one new at Sportsman's... but I thought I would check on here first. I live in the Gilbert/Mesa area. Please hit me up if you have something that fits the bill... Thanks!

Gotta be 6.5 CM... Thanks for the info!

Sorry for the delayed response on this... Can you post photos of this rig? Is it a standard or heavy barrel...? only looking for standard right now

It was great to read your initial review. I am still pondering making a purchase of my own. Thanks again!

Ouch... that hurt! LOL

Swarovski is probably at the top of the list for most people... just wonder if the price point keeps them out of a lot of conversations. I love my Swaro Binoculars... Have had them since 98

What are your major cross streets?
-
Darn... I was hoping for East Valley.
