Last weekend I had visitors and she made chocolate covered Strawberries and smoked trout.

Did some fishing with my family today. Both my grandson and granddaughter caught their first fish today. They each caught two. Turned the fish into a Pico Salad, really good. Didn't think about the draw once.

Good for you. Nothing more painful then selling your toys.

This coming weekend is made for the RNC. Weather calls for two days of snow Thursday and Friday then some sunshine Saturday sounds like snow pig hunting this weekend, with a warm place to stay at the end of the day.

Was out helping some friends on a 22 WT tag yesterday. It was cold. See your breath all day kinda cold. We did glass up a set of pigs. 10 adults and two reds.

Was out last Saturday and glassed up a nice herd of pigs about 20 minutes south of my place. Same herd we got into last year during archery season. Probably only a few hundred yards. Pig season is just around the corner.

You 22 late whitetail hunters are a hardy breed. I am up today helping on a hunt. It is cold. Waiting for my friends to show up from the valley. About 30 minutes away from a 40 minute ranger ride. Really bundled up but my feet are a bit cold. My blood thinners after my heart attack have a tendency to have my feet and hands a bit colder.
