Well done sir and good to see your Father out there enjoying life to its fullest!

Folks, thought I would throw out this question regarding my older Honda generator and how I could possibly quiet it down some. It is an older version, very reliable and cost effective(paid for) so not interested in replacing it with the new and improved (and mega expensive) quiet versions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and it is noise from exhaust not vibration from being mounted on the 5th wheel! Thanks again folks and have a great day!

Any pictures as I am not up to speed on this particular bike! Thank you, Kirk

Illegal Immigration Refrom

Here's another funny one fellas! Heard on 620am this morning that the Diamondbacks are facing the wrath of the cities they are traveling in to play baseball and all over this bill supposedly! Besides the fact that it is too funny, it is also stupid as they just now are traveling to Colorado after the bill has been signed and yest this immediately happens? Not likely I am thinking. This is another case of stupidity on behalf of the left and how the media everywhere are a bunch of whores selling themselves out to the left and their pathetic socialistic ideas! When I served in central and south America from 80-85 I saw first hand the blatant lies created by the media purely for the sake of politics and sales! I lost friends and the bull crap that was printed flat out lied about what occurred and it is a shame we dishonor those who do as ordered only to give the ultimate sacrifice for their country and fellow military team members. Nuff said, again PEACE OUT// -
Where's the love man? Pretty cool how some of us want to regulate some things but don't want government regulating us. Yet here we are free to voice our opinions without fear of repercussions from anyone (for now) and yet we still can't seem to "live and let live". Cameras don't harvest wildlife, people harvest wildlife! Hey wait, haven't we heard that before but in relation to guns and people? Better to have cameras being shot at critters then guns, especially out of season aye? Enjoy life ya'all as one day we wont be able to do what we do now and then what's left, grumpy old bastards venting on our favorite web site? Peace out!!

What really gets me is, we will vote for more taxes to build a billionaires a place for their teams to play games, but if there were a tax proposal for building a 40ft high, patrolled and guarded wall from San Diego to Texas no one would vote for it. Desert Bull you are spot on man! I have always wondered how we can value sports more then the real world where children are starving, families are on the street and gangs still intimidate the honest citizens. Imagine if we actually spent billiions of dollars on our own people in the inner cities, helped the small farmer stay afloat, created jobs for the jobless such as fences, block walls or some sort of blockade along our northern and southern borders. Plenty of skilled men not working right now who would love to do it and in doing so also genereate revenue for those border towns as well during the construction through lodging, restaraunts, gas stations, etc. The problem is this all makes too much sense and would take away the need for politicians as they would have no jobs as we wouldn't need them to debate and then vote on anything, we would just frickin do it! Enough said for a Monday but thanks again Desert Bull as it is nice to know others out there think with common sense for the good of all. -
Student Walk Out
Broken Wheels replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Careful you guys or you will also be judged for racial profiling on this site with your comments leaning too heavily to the side of the majority. Those kids protesting and staging a walk out today was what we were accused of as "DITCHING" and we were punished accordingly. (Of course we were going tubing down the river and not attending political rallies) Now in our pathetic state of the children of the corn "dissing" all parents we are stuck with the consequences of not raising our children with a firm hand and strong moral beliefs and teachings! This bill will work if it only forces the hands of the Fed's to step in and do their job as they have been asked to for what now, 30 years and running? Obama doesn't like this because as we send back hundreds of thousands of illegals that is just that many less potential candidates to run for President of the United States as he did illegally! Gotta go, better things to talk about like hunting and what to do with the return checks from not getting drawn for Elk or Antelope again! -
Dave, spoke with you on the phone this morning and thank you for the quiver. My brother also lives in "east LA" so he will call you this afternoon and meet up with you no later then tomorrow, () if not today. Thanks again and good luck on your turkey hunt! Kirk

AZ to hand over hunting license data
Broken Wheels replied to DesertBull's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I will make a couple phone calls as well but in all honesty, if it is to this point and happening today we are more then likely too late or never had a chance to begin with. This is that "change" that the Obama lovers wanted and they are getting it, but at the expense of all of us! Thank you Desert Bull for keeping an eye on our enemies and informing us as well. -
Guys, I have a problem with my Model 24 Savage in .223 over 12 gauge. I picked it up at the Mesa gunshow and the first time I fired the rifle portion the action flew open. Now I realize you can NOT use nato rounds in this weapon and only actual .223 caliber rounds and tha tis what I was using. Does anybody have any suggestions or possibly a gunsmith that wont "break it off in me" to diagnose this weapon? I appreciate anything you can do for me, Broken Wheels. P.S. it is a serial # F098489 which they are claiming is a 1995 model.

DesertBull has the correct answer I'm afraid! The only other option I would consider would have to be the trusty 270 for its all around performance capabilities, popular ammunition which can be bought across the counter at your local WalMarts, sporting goods stores and even some drug stores! (Springerville- awesome drug store!) As for a scope, I would suggest the Zeiss Conquest 4.5x14x50 or the up and coming Vortex 6.5x20x50 BDC! I would have to say this question has come up many a time over a campfire with a few beers being consumed and a great conversational topic it is!

Has anybody had any experience hunting in unit (Antelope Unit) 45 the past couple years and if so, what were the pros and cons to this unit? This will be my first time hunting there and also my first antelope hunt period, so I am greener then green and looking forward to learning such things as how to judge a goat in the field, judging distances which I am told are far different then mountain terrain, and anything else I can learn over the next few months. Thank you folks for anything you can offer up, regards Broken Wheels!

OMG! That really sends me over the top as far as excited goes! Thank you very much for making my summer as all I will be thinking about is this hunt! Have a great day! Broken Wheels

BROKEN BRAIN? I beleive the nickname is Broken Wheels but you can call me what you will as long as I am hunting antelope somewhere! Especially since we are NOT having much luck in 18 years trying to get a tag in this "holier then though" state! Thank you my fellow CWT hunter for the link as well as your suggestion and I am finally excited about something since finding out I wasn't drawn for anything in the Republic of Arizona.

BACKPACKING BOOTS OPINIONS NEEDED
Broken Wheels replied to crazy4COUES's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Anybody ever consider ECCO's as they are light weight, all leather, goretex waterproof and are instantly comfortable like you've been wearing them for years the first hour you have them on. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for... -
Gotta be April Fools or we would have already had 20 pages on CWT from everyone discussing this! Nice try though...

Folks, don't let Jeff fool you as he is a profectionist in everything he does and I am more then pleased with the results from my TC stock and forend. In comparing it to the factory camo stock and forend I have I do not see much of a difference if any. I am not patient enough to do these types of projects (though I will sit in a stand in 22N on a late archery bull hunt from 5am till 6pm never once getting out of a tree) so if there is one thing you need to have it is patience! Great work Akuritone!!

killed by a stinkin' "illegal" alien
Broken Wheels replied to .270's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Usually the initial response is one of anger and frustration but all this talk about shooting and killing? I guess if you've never taken another life it is easy to speak of, but it is something you must live with the rest of your life and for what, vengeance? What we should be "fighting" for is getting people to vote the right folks into office and holding them accountable once they are in office. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family of this wonderful American and hopefully something good will come from something bad such as this, in the form of more attention to protecting our borders and inforcing policies already in place. Be careful fellow hunters while in that country and always watch your six as a general practice as sometimes it isn't always just two legged critters behind you! -
I've always thought God's joke on us was to have a man and a woman live together as we are so totally different in the way we think, act, live and do lifes daily functions. (Venus and Mars) The key is to never forget how you felt towards your spouse the day you decided you liked them! Kids, pets, jobs, hobbies and so many other distractions come between the Mother/Wife and the Father/Husband throughout our daily grind and we tend to drop one another down on the priority list until one day you wake up and realize something has changed. Renew your vows, rekindle that flame and work as hard at your love for one another as you would at raising your children or putting a sneak on that trophy Coues Deer! Best of luck to you my fellow hunter and our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Any pictures by chance and though I am somewhat familiar with weapons the distinction between an M4/A3 to an AP4 loses me. A little briefing by anyone would be greatly appreciated. I assume this particular weapon is still for sale too?

So there is nothing wrong, no scratches or blemishes on the glass either end? The only scratch is on the body and the scope works fine? I also noticed you have a message stating "price dropped" so is it still $300 or is it now lower? Please advise and also are you local as in valley or where can we meet should I purchase the scope from you? Thank you,

Anyone up for some trading in the future?
Broken Wheels replied to Browning'sCustomMeat's topic in Classified Ads
I too was looking for a scope and settled on a Vortex 4.5x12x40 from Doug @ Camera Land. Smoking deal and using the Game Reaper one piece scope base and rings! Put one of these on my 270WSM and it rocks! I've been skeptical of late on Leupold pricing and warranty so went the Vortex route again and very, very pleased. Good luck and you have the right weapon in the 270WSM.
