Same here Mike for the borrowing i have t/c pro hunter or whatever its called I personally have not shot any of it yet but I have a scope I'm setting up on it and such. With my foot reconstruction I'm doubting even if I get a donated tag I wouldn't be doing any kind of early muzzy hunt I probably wouldn't be able to hunt till November December so this gun would be available also 50 cal. Only early hunt exceptions would be early rifle tags.

Hey Monday they're going to do I think 14 more auctions starting at 6:30 or 7 East Coast time. I know it's kind of hard to catch it here. Anyways you'll just kind of keep refreshing the page most of the auctions run for 10 or 15 minutes unless it's a large item and you just go on there and post like you would on any thread just put your dollar amount and if you win then you just pay a guy on there his name is Terry Lockwood you just pay it to his Paypal and he's friends with the family so all the money's just going to the family. It started as just Athens archery Shooters family but they opened it up to everybody obviously raise more funds. One of the guys on the Athens staff is a Muzzy shooter so he got a bunch of donated products from the Muzzleloader world that auctioned off yesterday

Sorry guys I was following the auction. They actually had to close down donations that got a bunch of donations. On that site they opened it up so you don't have to be a member during the auctions and you can just go right on the post they run the post for 10 or 15 minutes and you just go right on there and post bid of 20 bucks 30 bucks whatever it is. I believe it's over for now but will have another one Monday. I think they're going to have 14 more auctions Monday. Problem is we're West coasters they're East Coasters so if it starts at 7 their time lot of us are still at work. They auctioned off a javelina and feral hog hunt on a ranch in Texas tonight 2 Hogs one javelina and actually changed it to two guys as long as it went over a thousand so it went for 1100 bucks it's a 3-day hunt on a guy's in-laws property he's got a large chunk of property and dang I wish I could have bought that

I'm about to dive into trying to figure this out for my 9 year old who turns 10 December 27th. I don't know how the rules go now but I'd love to be able to put him in for junior javelina but what are the chances. I don't know the rules if you have to take the field day once you're 10 I'm doubting I'm going to find a field day after the holidays and before that third week in January. Not sure how the rules go I think you're allowed to take the class before you're 10 you have to graduate when you're ten or something there's any clarification. I know with my older kids because it was a two-week class and my older kids were one week with me in one week not I ended up going to Camp Verde and doing the class there because they had it all in one week and then the 4th or 5th day whatever it was as the field day and that worked out really awesome I wish there was more of those

If i could do mine over again i would have no more than 4 friends join me and NO STRANGERS. Wanna have the fun sucked right out of your hunt have a stranger telling you what you should and shouldnt shoot to the extreme of somewhat of a arguement. Joined a friend for his hunt few years back and just few of us on glass and he shot a stud and imho was way better fun than dealing with people telling me what to do. Btw when i killed my sheep the couple guys that did matter were right beside me along with a rockhunter in a denim vest that found the sheep for me L.O.L. out of all of us and thousands and thousands of dollars in glass and a old cowboy none of us knew driving a dirt road found my Ram.
