    WTB-CZ 452 high rings for 1" scope

Hey Shooter, If you do not find a used pair: I went with Millet (Medium) and was able to mount a 6x40 Vortex and a Weaver 4x32 without issue. Both were tight, the Vortex really tight and if it was .25" shorter it wouldn't have worked.

    Grand Canyon Fishing???

I probably wouldn't bother with a rod and reel for that trip. It's below the LCR and typically the fishing below there is fair to poor due to visibility. They are also shocking the heck out of trout on the river right now which doesn't bode well for the future of fishing below Lee's Ferry.

    Nikon ED50 straight body

This is good glass and REALLY lightweight.
  6. I used to live in the NW and fished a lot. I live in Tucson now and don't, but I'd like to start. I'm going over my gear and have a pair of nice Lamiglas Salmon/Steelhead rods I'd like to trade. They are versatile casting rods but the primary design is for jig/bobber or "drift" fishing. If you plan on fishing in OR, WA or AK these are proven rods I've used for steelhead, coho and spring chinook...check the pics. Both are 8'6" and rated as medium with 8-12#line weight, 3/8-3/4ounce lures. 1. Lamiglas Espirit Special S86MC: This is a classic NW drift rod, no trigger, near mint, cork/guides in excellent shape. Trade value is around $100 2. Lamiglas Pro Series Cascade BC86MC: Rod has some egg goop stains and cork is worn, guides in good shape. Trade value is around $30 Could trade one or both for equal quality bass casting rods...6.5-7' medium/fast action or let me know what you got. I'll be using my trusty Shimano Curado's so any really old style casting reel seats probably won't work for me. Thanks for looking.

    draw weight question

We'd really need to know the make and model of your bow to answer your question. If you have a conventional bow with 60-70# limbs and it shoots at 50# something sounds strange to me. As a general rule of thumb it's 3 full turns out from max crank down, and as a general rule of thumb each full turn = 3# of draw weight. There's always room to play so maybe a 70# max limb set can be shot at 72# on the high end and 58# on the low end, but a full 20# swing sounds odd unless your bow tech tweaked your limbs/cables, etc. too. If you have a reasonable amount of threads in the riser from your limb bolt screws at 50# and it shoots OK, sure why not. But after 3+ turns most limbs look pretty scary far out of the limb pocket on the riser...as far as safety concerns go if it looks like the limbs are about to fall out of the riser then don't shoot it...

Archery Rest, Sites & Longbow Quiver

Thanks for the recurve offers guys. I was interested in trades on a bow that I deleted from the ad. The Strother is a cash deal. For those unaware, it isn't an off-brand. Strother engineered some of the best bows put out by Bowtech and Elite and the craftsmanship on this Infinity is impressive. If you are a lefty or have a lefty archery buddy shooting an older bow this is a smoking deal for $275...

  13. I'm looking for someone skilled to go over my older 7.5 hp outboard. My diagnosis is its toast, would like a second opinion. Anyone know someone who is skilled and trustworthy with small engines in Tucson? ***Edited to add: If anyone is selling a decent 4 stroke kicker from 6-10hp in Tucson let me know

Bump for some pics. Would trade the Darton for a working fish finder or a RH Recurve bowfishing rig....speaking of the LH Darton turned down to 50# would be a sweet lefty bowfishing bow, I already have an old Hoyt Enticer that does the trick

    Shwacker 100 grain Broadsheads

Bump for a pic. Would trade all of the 1.75" for two packs of 100 grain Slick Trick Magnums....
  19. SPF I have a used left hand Montana Black Gold "Ascent" site for sale. It is third axis, has five .19" pins and the last pin floats. You can get a tape printed out based on your bow's speed etc and use the last pin to shoot at further distances. I think the cheapest you will find these sites new online is $145 or so. SPF
  20. TTT, price lowered to $75. Would trade for a Sonoran Site (mini-d or long range hunter) with a few .19 or .10 pins.
