What Gun Range does everyone like?
Siwash replied to Couzer's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
The Tucson Rifle Club, in 3 Points about 20 miles west of Tucson, is probably two hours one way from San Tan. Last time checked it was $100 a year (it has been a while so the annual may have increased). That fee used to cover two people in a household. Even on weekends after 1pm the place is is usually not crowded…you can shoot to 500 meters on the first range and 1k on the long range, if you are a member, but you gotta have a partner and radios. If you just wanna go for the day the 500 meter range midday to afternoon is a good deal at $20. You can bring your own paper or steel. They have pigs at 300m, turkeys at 400 and rams at 500 you can paint. I am in my 40s and I started shooting there in my 20s…I don’t think the steel they have has been replaced in that time but they did improve the restrooms a few years back -
Looking for .45 Colt reloading dies in Tucson. If you have a set collecting dust please let me know. Would trade 1x fired 45 ACP brass 5:1 for .45 LC brass too. Thanks for looking.

Noticed 8 ounce bottles of BH 209 in stock at Thunderstick Trading Co. north of Speedway just east of Craycroft. They had 10 bottles at the low low price of $75 each…

2 per day and I think anything under 22” (maybe 20”) goes back. Last year I did a trip to Punta Colonet on the Tribute and it felt like every drop was a hookup on some rockfish. I kept two lingcod and probably released 4-5 that were short.

I have a 3 day in early April on the Polaris Supreme and a 3 day over Memorial Day on the American Angler. I am contemplating 1.5 day next month on the Tribute for lings in Baja.

With that bullet my 300 WSM likes 64 grains of H4350…I get similar results to you for groups if I do my part and never felt a need to explore anything else. -
Forgot about these, $150 for the pair of Bilstein struts. Will be in Central PHX on Saturday afternoon of anyone is interested.

Congrats man!

Be grateful you have a processor. Two years ago when I killed a late bull several places in Payson along with one in Tucson just said “no, sorry, we are full.” I ended up dropping it at Millers and if I am not mistaken it took 6-8 weeks to it back…and everything I took in was boned out and all I wanted was grind & steaks. PS congrats on your bull.

Use USAA for auto and they route boat and UTV through progressive. My ‘14 Ranger 570 is a little over $100 annually full coverage.

People can also use this email address to inquire about volunteering as a hunter safety instructor: azhuntereducation@azgfd.gov More volunteers = more classes.

TTT, just the 4Runner front struts are left. I run these on my F150 and have no complaints.

Appreciate the trade offers guys. I found a trade here in Tucson today.

TTT. Spotter is a great lightweight complement to a pair of 10x in the field.

My buddy lives outside of Fairbanks and had an archery moose tag that was valid in his backyard…one morning in season he saw a cow, munching away broadside next to his backyard target at 40yds. It was his easiest hunt & pack out ever…
