I was asked about negotiation on price. I just received these, was able to get 12 lbs but it was 2 different shipments, some were in stock one day and others the next, so 2 hazmats and shipping. I ordered extra than I wanted to spread out the hazmat and shipping per pound. The IMRs I got cost me 46 bucks, which was good because if sportsmans had it it would be 42 plus tax for the same 46. The VV cost me 51, the others 42. If I sold all 6lbs I would clear all of 30 bucks to justify all the meetups to sell. Unfortunately this is the reality of powder costs anymore. These are duplicates of powders I have so don't mind keeping them or passing them along. Will trade also. Kent

Gary, I'm sure you met my brother Dave, he bought a 308 788 new about the same time from Smitty's, killed his first deer with it on Alma Mesa. A few years latter he was on a hunt with some friends and one of the guys decide to chop a tree down in camp, it fell on the gun and broke it. Back then we weren't smart enough to know to keep the action and tossed the whole thing. I had a 243 and sold it to a member here 10 years ago, shouldn't have. Anyway, I want the grandkids to experience the vintage guns, I do have my old savage 99 308 for them also. Kent

I worked for UofA at the down town Phoenix biomedical campus a few years, and my family being ASU alums all the way back to my great grandmother in the late 1800s at the Tempe normal school, she taught in the Prescott/Jerome area and was latter the superintendent of schools for Yavapai county in the 1920s, my grandfather the same in Cottonwood/Clemenceau/Clarkdale and superintendent. My mother met my father at ASU, my sisters graduated, my Daughter... and now my Niece is attending this next year, she's from Huntington beach. I almost felt like a traitor, but ASU and NAU both were on campus also... some good people all around. Kent
