Is there anyone out there enforcing? I'd just write HUNTING on a piece of cardboard put it on the dash if I was concerned. Kent

Go to goodwill/thrift stores, look in the long sleeve shirt section, may not have any everytime you look but after a year you will have a bag full of merino wool pullovers. I don't like the V neck ones, a couple are turtlenecks which are nice for really cold weather. I started with smartwool and such, but why pay that when you can accumulate plenty at 5 to 10 bucks a pop. Kent

I'll add I don't order the mega burger anywhere as I can't really eat that much anymore. Kent

Best at a restaurant... Harbor house, Sunset beach Ca, I like just a regular cheeseburger, wife liked their Hawaiian burger with a slice of pinapple, covid reduced their menu to the bare minimum and the Hawaiian disappeared, maybe it'll come back. We go over to Huntington beach twice a year to visit her sister's family, always eat at Harbor house. Huge portions and cheap. In Phoenix, Art's, on Van Buren, looks like a dive right in the middle of the homeless, food is killer. It also took a hit during covid, burger wasn't quite as good as usual last time I went. breakfast/lunch only place. In AJ, Hackers, also breakfast lunch only, great food and burgers. Kent

Prices are well up from earlier in the year. I thought about buying some just to pass on here, but the end price just to break even is to much to put my name to. I did buy 6lbs of RL16, Blue dot and bullseye... end price was 51.50 per lb after haz, shipping, tax... brownells, they probably still have some. Kent

Problem is regulation wording isn't subject to opinion, even the G&F's. And I know from experience G&F doesn't always understand the consequences of proposals they put out. Kent

As far as someone holding two elk tags, one from the draw and one from the leftovers, that's an interesting thought. Don't know if anyone has tried it or done it... but... You can have multiple javalina tags, only one from the general draw the other/s from the leftover, can't be the same hunt number. Harvest limit is two javalina a year but I don't see anything limiting you to only two separate tags. I've gone down after the leftover draw week and purchased two tags, maybe I could have bought five. I doubt there's enough leftovers to get excited about it anymore. Kent

Maybe, nothing in the wording of the 'requirements' say they can't. Kent

Well you can hold an OTC tag and draw tag. Also I suppose if a youth had a youth tag and didn't fill in the earlier season, they could have a tag transferred to them for a later season and hunt again... theoretically. Kent
-
Nothing in the regs say you can't. I know it's happened, asking someone at G&F in the office is just getting their opinion. Obviously they can't be holding a tag at the time of transfer. Kent

Circumstances where a tag can be transferred or donated Transfer from a parent, grandparent or guardian to their minor child or grandchild. A parent, grandparent or legal guardian holding a big game tag may allow the use of that tag by their minor child or minor grandchild pursuant to the following requirements: The minor child is 10 to 17 years old on the date of transfer; The minor child has a valid hunting or combination license on the date of transfer; A minor child less than 14 years old has satisfactorily completed a Department-approved hunter education course by the beginning date of the hunt; A minor child or grandchild receiving an unused tag from a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian shall be accompanied into the field by any grandparent, parent, or legal guardian of the minor child. **Note: There is a $8 fee for the big game tag transfer to cover the administrative costs for processing the transfer and producing an additional tag. See more info. Once a tag is transferred at a Department office, the original permittee may no longer use it.

Unfortunately every contactor I work for cannot find architects or get plans drawn in a timely manner. One contractor's long time architect died, took him 8 months to find someone else to do his work... everyone and every trade is swamped. Kent
