I was not trying to be argumentative or even reacting to your comments. My comments were 100% directed at the management of the herd and the hunt structure. Directed at Game and Fish and to a certain degree Russ. Sorry if you felt that it was directed to you.

Just my opinion but these are good changes. The attempt to pack more hunters in with less time overall for each hunt was a bad move IMO. I think they were trying to milk it a little too hard. If people have to wait their turn to go, so be it. Its not hard to get drawn for cow. I got a tag the first time I put cow on my app. The extended weather just made a not so good situation a lot worse.

I have a pair of the Zamberlan Trekkers that have been excellent boots. Pretty true to size based on how about 75% of shoes fit my feet. The other 25% are a half size up or down.

I disagree. They should leave this right where it is so we can see the type of crap we are going to be up against more and more. These citiots think they can buy a little land up north and use whatever means they can to get what they want. Things like livestock, which are a way of life for some are mere nuisances to people like this. They also have no clue what it means and the grave consequences there can be to bear false witness against your neighbor.

If these issues are legit, why are you and your parents taking this on rather than trying to bring the resources of a legitimate wildlife advocacy group like the Arizona Deer Association or the Arizona Elk Society to bare against the Forest Service?

I had this hunt in 2010 but I didn't hunt on YPG. Lots of good country on public land and refuge to hunt too. Congratulations and Good Luck!

Congrats man! Sounds like you guys had some good action. Glad you got into them.

Most I can offer is my presence. Never been to either place. I've driven by Lee's Ferry but that's it. I'm just saying I need to cross the Ferry off my list first. Would love to get up there this coming winter though.
