Guys, I have a box of over 1000 rds of 454 casoull ammo, they are all reloads, most with lead wad cutter bullets. all in reload plastic boxes or standard cardboard boxes with all grain weight, powder and primer info on it. Problem is I did not reload them. I picked up the ammo a year ago from a friend who's relative past away and had them stored in the garage and wanted to thow them away. I had a buddy who owns a 454 casoull, but after a year of him not picking it up im am posting it here. Im tired of the box sitting in my garage. Box weighs about 60 to 70 lbs. If interested pm me. Just curious how many points did it take you. I have been applying for 4a for 16 years now, I have 18bp, still no tag. Been hunting elk and deer in that unit for 20+ years, there are some nice antelopes there and its easy to scout. Good luck, maybe one year I will draw a tag.

I love my Geovids, I have been using them for awhile, on archey hunts rifle hunts and helping others on their hunts. I have no complainants and the glass is clear and laser works great, up to long long distances. When I purchased them I was kind of worried about the 5 year warranty due to the electronic portion of the optics. After last year hunt and my left diopt was not working properly. I sent them back and Leica fixed them, and cleaned everything up. Even being past the 5 year warranty they did everything for free. All I paid was shipping to them. I have not used or looked through the swaro's or zeiss laser binos, but I am very satisfied w/ my geovids and the customer service of Leica. Nothing beats having a range finder in your binos,

Dont complain too much about this. My brother in law flew in from Houston to take his son to the hunter ed field course in Tucson. My newphew is 10 and has his first deer hunt in 42 starting this Friday. If they can fly in from Texas to do it, any local person should be able to make some time.

good luck on your hunt. I too have that tag, and so does my daughter for the jr hunt after ours. I have been hunting that unit for years. Your questions all depend on where you will be hunting. North part or south part of the unit. North part you can expect to see deer in the hills, canyons and flats. South part mostly in the flats in the washes, which can be hard to glass due to most desert washes have alot of vegeitation. The entire unit you can find plenty of hills to climb and glass from, thats the benefit of hunting the desert. Expect to find the bucks alone, and even still running together. The last few years, even on the later Jr hunt, I found bucks running together in 2's and 5's. You may find smaller bucks running with does. For instance my daughter took a 3x2 that was with 3 does. And last year I glassed several spikes and forks with about 10 does running together. Right now they are hitting water frequent due to lack of rain and the hot weather. However if we get some rain before or during the hunt, larger bucks will change their pattern and use the water collecting on the rocks next to their feed and bed area. But the way we are going now with the weather, hunting near water will be good. However I have several cameras up on water, and they are all still hitting at night from 9pm to 4am. Hopefully closer to the hunt the weather will be cooler and keep them active during the day. Good luck on your hunt. The desert holds some nice bucks.
