Good to hear. #6's or 7 1/2's will kill pheasants all day long for ya. Especially in a sub guage guns. The key is to put a pellet in nerve tissue on a pheasant, a #6 pellet will penetrate a pheasants head at 70 yards, so there's no need to go bigger, the key is getting as many pellets flying at em as you can! Good luck on the hunt, my dad uses 5's for everything and swears by them, I shoot heavy 7 1/2's here in ND most of the fall and switch to high brass 6's in December when they really smart.

Now you've got me curious as to what you're gonna do with it? Sorry I don't have any and I'm totally hijacking your thread but I've gotten an itch to buy the new beretta auto 28 and this caught my eye!!

Or you're just bad at scoring antelope. Doesn't look much bigger then 80-82 to me. It's tall but that only gets you a few inches. It doesn't lack mass but its not exceptional, about what you'd expect on a book buck. The prongs hurt it as far as being a monster score wise. Add a couple inches to each prong and you've got yourself a monster. I wouldn't be passing it up regardless. Nice buck, good picture. Well well well. I do believe the intent is to make the buck look bigger and I said they were good at accomplishing that. It is a big buck, the pic makes it look bigger. My apologies Azkiller, I mistook your post a bit. It's an incredible antelope!!!

What a pig! Great story to boot! I don't think there is a more deserving guy on this forum! Congrats! -
If you don't like the soles buy the hardscrabble hiker, similar boot but has a vibram sole. The only boot without vibram is the desert guide. They put a harder some on them as th rocks in az will chew up the vibrams but they sure do grip good!

They're really stiff, but they'll last you for years.

Was it a female and cubs?

Sorry guys, it's in ND. We will be driving down to UT then on to AZ for some elk hunts this fall so we could potentially work out a FTF delivery with a CWT member.

My dad just put this up on gunbroker, kinda wish he'd keep it as its a sweet rifle. He asked if I'd put it up here as I know this type of gun is a coues hunters dream! http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=438434440

Nice buck! Congrats! Your buddies look pissed! -
You can get yourself 6 or 7 pairs and you'll wear out one pair a week and you just may get an entire season out of all of them!!

Total hi jack here but I've got one just like it but its only the call and the remote. I'd take $225 shipped if any of you are still looking.

Buy an outdoorsman male and femal adapter. Put one on your tripod, one on the window clamp and then the opposite side on your head. The. You can pop it on and off your tripod and window mount and only need one head.

Good deal. Let me know if it falls through.

10-4! Do they still use silos much in the valley? In ND they use poly bags that are about 10ft in diameter and 200-300 ft long. Or just pile it up and let the edges spoil.
-
Good point. I didn't even think about that. They wouldn't be silos. Feeding silage to green cattle in a pasture like that would kill them. Not to mention the headache of hauling it up from the valley. I've seen trick tanks that had catchments above them with inverted cone roofs to catch rain water. That's my guess. Definitely not a silo.

I've got one of those. It's undoubtedly the best. I bought if for a Wyoming antelope hunt and ended up not drawing. My sister in law took it on her wyoming elk hunt but didn't get a chance to shoot anything with it. I mostly just screw around with it. I have a 2-10 scope on it and an HHA adjustable base. I can keep it on a paper plate to 125 real easily.

SOLD-SOLDBrowning shotgun for sale-SOLD-SOLD
yotebuster replied to Shooter McGavin's topic in Classified Ads
My brother had one and it would shoot low brass 1 1/8 as longs as they had high dram. Like super handicap AA's. I had a beretta 303 and it would shoot almost everything but they got better with use.
