How do you lock up your Ice chest/coolers???

I go the cheap cooler route. Tried locking my pelican in but it got to be such a hassle. No one wants to steal my crappy coolers with crappy beer in them!

I need a good electrician. (Glendale area)

Ruthunter and desertbucks own an electrical company in Glendale. Acosta electric. If they get a second between shooting 200" muleys this fall they would help you out I'm sure and you wont find two nicer guys.

31 days till its open "naturebob"

Surprisingly it hasn't slowed much in williston. They're down to 80 drilling rigs last I heard but that's pretty good since this will probably be the last time in our lives we'll see oil below $40. If it can survive this it can survive anything if you ask me. I think the outlying areas have been affected more, a lot of companies are actually building new shops and housing in Williston right now to take advantage of the slow down while they can. It's the best thing that's ever happened to this community of you ask me. Allowed for road and housing construction to catch up, got rid of a lot of the riff raff, and brought rent down to a manageable level for most people. That's pretty awesome country around killdeer. A lot of critters running around there. Just got a pic of a 215" velvet Muley a guy shot a few days ago with a bow up there somewhere. Gonna be some big big muleys killed around here in the next couple years!!

No hard feelings Bob! If I wasn't born here and didn't have access to 10k prime private acres I probably wouldn't look at it quite the same either! We still have to get together for some oheasants before you go! I've got so dang many at my place here in williston this year I'm afraid they're gonna run off my partridge and grouse! They need to die! If I were in your shoes I'd bail too. It'll always be here if you need to come up and work again. Things will get rolling again someday soon and you'll be able to come back if you wanna out yourself through it again! When I was in AZ for four years I disnt appreciate it for the first few for sure. Now that I'm back I miss it like crazy. Not so much in the summer but a lot in sept and oct and a ton after that!!! Good luck with the elk hunt, I'll be watching this thread like a hawk!!
  14. Got out for a little while in my backyard up here in ND! Limited out in about 1.5hr. Nice night to be out!!!

  16. You're killing me!! That's so cool. Congrats to your boy, he'll remember that forever! You guys have inspired me to get out this evening here in ND! I planted 20 acres of sunflowers this year and they're loaded in there!

Bullets that just won't shoot well?

I had a .17 rem one time that started doing that when I tried moly coated bullets back when they were the rage. Shot 3/4 moa all day with 25gr bergers. Tried some 25 gr moly bergers and it started key holing and shooting patterns instead of groups. I switched back and t kept doing it with the bullets that i used to use. Turns out the barrel was really on its way out and he slick moly coating I the barrel put it over the edge. Tried scrubbing the heck out of the barrel to no avail. Ended up having to re barrel. Never shot as good after.

  19. Chlorophyll!?! More like borophyll!!
  20. Collect all of the juicy elk pies you find when you're scouting and keep them in Tupperware so they don't dry out. Then on opening day smear them all over yourself.

    Swarovski service

I sent mine in after they slipped off my tripod and went plinko through a boulder pile. Totally my fault. Two broken Objective lenses. They recieved them and then sent me an estimate of $250 for replacing lenses. They had me "ok" it first and then I paid via credit card. I was happy as it was my fault completely. I realize vortex woulda sent me a new pair in the same scenario but in my opinion it's not worth the trade off for cheaper glass and Japanese mfg.

    Bummed about Swarovksi Customer Service

. That's only if you're putting the stud on EL's. The slc's are threaded and the outdoorsman adapter will thread right in. I asked outdoorsman why the Binos swivel slightly when the screw is tight and they said it was to keep it from backing out the stud screwed into the Binos. Makes sense to me. Mine will move slightly when the screw is tight, but it doesn't bother me a bit.
