Hey Ernesto- the hunt was organized with Sonora Outdoors - some friends went last year and this year and I got in on the action this year and was glad I did! We had a great time and it was awesome. 5 of 7 tags filled- we had access to 3 ranches close to Nacoazri - one was desert, the next was desert and scrub- the last was oak - there was some rutting action but it wasn't heavy- some bucks were chasing does like crazy and others could care less, it should fire up this week or next.

yesterday our group lost one hide- the tick was alive-such a bummer - this hide was frozen the longest (3 days) - 3 people searched the hide- once the agent pulled out a flashlight and began looking through it, I knew we were screwed - it was very small - not sure if it happened to get on the hide when we laid out the hide to check it? the agent that checked my hide found one dead tick - two agents spent about a few minutes searching, luckily and all was good.

often we practice a lot prior to Jan (or another hunt), then because we are hunting every opportunity we get, practice can take a back seat, we shoot very little and fundamentals can slip- make sure you are practicing / shooting in Jan during the hunt. The curse after shooting at an animal is prematurely dropping the bow arm to get a better view of the arrow, follow through is super important. Good luck, been where you are multiple times in 28 years...

ASU's QB had some nice runs that kept ASU in game, seems like his throwing regressed during the year, now he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. The game did get interesting in 3rd quarter. Glad I took Wisconsin @ -6, some bettors got a bad beat @-7.5 with the Badgers taking 4 knees at the 5 yds line. For the year that was supposed to be ASU's year 8-5 gotta hurt.... save your breath, still better that U of A, neither University will sniff conference championship next year...
