Wasatch Mountains Utah- Elk? Any CWT Member hunt there
Redman replied to Redman's topic in Elk Hunting
Thanks Yotebuster, not looking for a 380 bull, but I wouldn't pass it up ... From everything I read a 330-340 is big... to find a 350 bull is rare. So my expectations set for a 330 ish bull... but as of now I have 2 weeks off for the hunt and plenty of time to enjoy it. I really want to experience a great hunt (safe) with many bulls encounters - nice camp and some good laughs with friends. -

Wasatch Mountains Utah- Elk? Any CWT Member hunt there
Redman replied to Redman's topic in Elk Hunting
I have the LE Tag so I can hunt any season. I am definitely hunting early rife in Sept probably go last couple days of archery then rifle. First scouting trip next weekend, I am flying to Salt Lake and will check out the NE part of the unit. Temps this weekend should be 80/50 per weather app... Thanks -
man me vote for a ASU guy????? yes

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, it will probably take a year or so. It would be a real shame if that magnificent deer was poached..... and on the flip side if BC777 is innocent. In this day and age with cell phones, texts and social media, the paper trail is easy to follow- I am sure if I killed a deer like that I would be texting and calling friends and family immediately...the G&F could easily see where I was by the cell tower my cell phone ping from, then pull my texts and phone records. Also to move a deer of that size (with the guts in it) would take a lot of effort by a couple of guys (unless it was killed close to a road. I wonder if the Rez roads have trail cameras on them... The facts will be flushed out and truth will be known.

another vote for mountain biking, I used to run but my left calf just won't participate and the planar factitious flare ups gotten more frequent... today road for 2 hours, I am new to it, but the trails can be crazy hard and downright dangerous- some of the guys can absolutely fly down the trails....

+1 I built a pool last year and couldn't be happier. It turned out bigger than I anticipated (18,500 gallons) but im glad it did. My boys love it and have been swimming since February. Like said above, don't go through a pool builder....everything has a huge mark up. I did mine myself and came in just under $27,000. Give me a shout if you have any questions or need references. nicely done! we are going we salt finish, colored concrete for our decking. I have had Kool Decks in the past and they still get hot and chip.

it costs on average $200 -$300 a year for pool chemicals- your figure of 10% of $25K ($2500) is more than I spend in 5 years. sure after 8-10 years, it will need replastered / pebble tec and new tile ($4000). but still this is way less than 10% I have had a pool for over 20 years at 4 different homes. My older home with an old pool was much harder to keep up because the equipment and plaster were old and the water balance was a battle . For this older pool once we replastered and added new equipment it was easy. Sand filter, salt pool, with chorine - simple and easy. My last house I might of spent 1 hour a week in the summer sweeping and skimming. In the winter I would go weeks without doing a thing.

I am actively building a pool now as a homeowner builder. I have always had a pool in all my houses and enjoy being outside, BBQ and swimming, playing basketball with my kids and watching the dogs swim. Its actually a very simple process if you are willing to work with contractors, I have had a great experience thus far (all my other pools came with the house). Only thingI have left to do is the deck, tile and plaster. If you want some info hit me up, I have all the contractors names and advice to share, the permit is the longest phase. My complete build should be around $25K (easily a $35K+ pool from a pool builder). Once you get your design down (engineering) and you have your permit, it moves fast, each process below is separate and you call and deal with each contractor. The process is: Pool paint out on the ground. dig pool Plumbing Steel Electric INSPECTION PRE-GUNITE (SHOTCRETE) Shotcrete Water feature (if you want one) Deck Tile Barrier Final inspection Plaster Fill and start up.

6 weeks ago the media (and Boboso) had the UA becoming the next Cal (or ASU), then Miller signed 1#5, 2 #4 and got 2 transfers and had one spot to go. UA also has a nice group of returning players.... all this while being under FBI investigation. Say what you want be Miller can recruit! ASU has a nice class coming in, but are they better than the class that left, after all last years team was #3 st one point.
-
Hey Boboso So much for all your doom and gloom, look who has a very strong recurring class.... one more 5 Stat to land.....

Sold! thanks for viewing.
