U of A is screwed. So are half of the NCAA tops schools (per reports). When the NBA instituted the draft rules, this was the effect to that cause. As a Cats fan, I am being serious.... this sucks for Pac 12- ASU has fallen from being a potential #1 seed to bubble team... there is still A LOT of conference play - ASphew can go one or two ways, improve or bust... they cannot lose more than 3 games and expect a NCAA bid...... or they will have to win the PAC 12 tourney we will find out how good Hurley is now.

This is what happens in conference play, a team cant sneak up on a team like at the beginning of the season. ASUs hallmark win this year was thought to be was against Kansas, but Kansas sucks - especially at home. The best win was Xavier. Still early in the season, but all ASU is doing now is hurting UAs RPI- come on! Funny I still chuckle at the ASPhew fans that said after the bowl loss we are a basketball school NOW..... HAHAHA....

polls don't matter... that is what is great about CBB... the only poll that matters is the NCAA Tourney

Conference play is always tough, some teams have great fans and energy. ASU has to play a good UTAH team on Sat. I think ASU is going to lose 4-5 conference games this year which is a great turnaround. Really nothing matters until PAC 12 tourney (which really doesn't matter much) then the NCAA tourney. ASU has shown they can win multiple games in a row... UA is just getting started, still need much improvement, but are the best team in the PAC 12 which isn't saying much. PAC 12 sucks in just about everything

It's with great sadness and a heavy heart to say Warner Smith has passed away. Warner was an avid outdoorsman and supported multiple hunting organizations. He lived a remarkable life and is survived by his daughter Carlee and wife Becky. Warner was diagnosed with ALS almost 4 years ago and lost his battle with this horrible disease. He worked for Garmin- Garmin is a great company and allowed Warner to work from home and supported him with his illness. He graduated from the University of Arizona with two Masters, was a member of Desert Swarm football team and play two seasons for the Indianapolis Colts (plus a few games in the Area Football League). Graduated from San Manuel High School. He will be missed by many....I hope he is miles from the truck now chasing the grey ghost.
