Nice! great buck

Your correct one cannot enter their rifle's specific ballistic info- one can only choose from the pre-programed categories. The laser on the 1600B is great, but the ballistic program is (IMO) worthless. Its nice to get the angle displayed. Since my ballistic app pulls in the weather info, i rarely use the temperature and barometric pressure readings.

a friend glass some up in 24A on the WT DEC hunt....in Wheatfields.

i have a 1600B, my friend has the Sig Kilo 2000- go with the Sig and get a shooting app for you smart phone.
-
for the 1600B make sure you have the ballistic data off if you are using an app. you do not want it reading the EHR (equivalent horizontal range) and then entering the angle in your app... you maybe double correcting (the 1600B will be correcting and the app will be correcting)- use one or the other BUT NOT BOTH. Also if you are using an APP make sure no other ballistic calculations are being determined by the 1600B. The 1600B was probably designed to not use an app. double tab the secondary button- if it reads anything other than US- then you want to turn off all ballistic settings so you are using line of sight (LOS) and then enter the angle calculated from the 1600B into the app. please confirm what i said is accurate (any other 1600B users)

The good news is a lot of people that don't draw will get a call when the "renter" turns in their tag.... I just hope the renter draws their dream tag the next year and then breaks their arm and can't go and can't turn in their tag....BOOM!

great scope - I have one and has tracked every shot (over 300 shots) dialed at multiple distances...

For sale: Used Leica 62MM spotting scope with eyepiece and cover. Non- APO model. Small and lightweight- perfect for those who want a spotter but not the weight.- 35oz -is what the specs state. Fits nicely in backpack and easy to carry. Optically it's perfect - no scratches or imperfections. Body has some rub marks but has no impact on use (from being in the pack). $800 - I upgraded to a larger scope (Leica 77mm) - which is much heavier and larger.... to be honest I am torn - the larger 77mm is optically superior at low light - but twice as heavy and much bigger....need one gone. 48o- 273- 794o text or call for more info- PM works also- but slower Andy

do the AZ stats separate residents from non-residents?

I am almost in your situation with my BP. I have hunted the premier units and non premier units- just don't let expectations get the best of you... what I mean is a fantastic hunt can be had in a non premier unit, but I think one needs to "lower expectations"..... when the hunt starts to get hard in a non premier unit don't get down- ignore the texts and pictures of bulls being taken in other units - "they are really bulging in unit X" I have seen guys get so discouraged when the texts start coming from other units.... then ultimately the comment " i shouldn't of put in for this hunt"..... I'm personally going with the non premier unit...with 1st and premier with 2nd

Kyle builds a tack driver.... love my rifle from him. I am sure you will be happy. My advice.... have him work up a load and stick with it.

19.3% last year per Hunter's Trailhead. 9 bp is 100%.... 5B north with 8 bp is 100% pick your hunt 1 in 5 chance or 100%
-
11 BP in unit 1 archery (early) is 100% draw odds last year, per Hunter's Trailhead- 10 Pts is 10%. Again this was last year, depends on who applies this year.
