nice going very successful and looks like you had a wonderful time , a note... LMAO

Yeah that was a butt kicking last night.... Too bad Mike Stoops was the coach at the UA, Hundley would be the starting QB for AZ. Doesn't get any easier for ASU.... UA has a big game next Thursday, after humiliating the Ducks last year, I sure Oregon wants payback... Rich Rod better get that defense in order, the O seems to be able to score

Thanks everybody for reading my topic. I know a lot of good people that hunt hard and things just don't fall into place to harvest an animal. We were blessed to harvest three. You just never know when you may not be able to chase animals again, I hope everybody takes in every moment, enjoys the outdoors, family, and friends when they are out....

Total cost of trip, doesn't matter where and varies by age.

It's a matter of risk vs reward. I am not sure what the rates are for an 84 year old, but it has too be significant, does the cost of the insurance really reimburse the hunter enough if he can't go... It would be different if he was 24... The cost of the insurance is much less. If he is traveling overseas he may want to explore health insurance and Mediflight

Arrows seem to be angling to the right on target
Redman replied to apache12's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
An arrow will take the path of less resistance when it hits the target. Shoot broadheads, it will tell yourself and whoever works on (it if needed) a lot of information. -
WTB or Rent on Tuesday SKB Bow Case or Similar in East Valley
Redman posted a topic in Classified Ads
looking for an SKB type of bow case (hard sided), double case is even better. Need to purchase on Tuesday, looking to not pay retail... even could rent for 2 weeks. I have two hard sided cases but would like a sturdier case for a flight. If you have one, let me know. I am in the East Valley, Thanks Andy -

Shot placement is the key. All broad-heads on the market will kill an elk if shot well. With that being said, please shoot your broad heads at all different distances regularly before your hunt. I have a new Hoyt Fackor, I am having trouble broad-head tuning. I don't have a bow press so its hard to tune (yoke, etc) my field tips hit 1 inch to the left of my broad-heads. I would recommend keeping your practice broadhead in your quiver and shoot it frequently... I have killed 4 elk with Wac Ems, they obviously work, but I have lost 2 coues with the same broad-head.... the reason, shot placement. i hit one in the ponch and the other high.... more nervous I guess, I stalked one, the other shot over water. My vote WacEms or Slick Trick...

Man that sucks, I feel for ya. Thank you for your service to our Country.

I have shot them for years, they are hard to find (harder years ago).... fly like field tips... just picked up a pack of Slick Trick... might make a change due to cost and availability

mechanical broadheads success and failures
Redman replied to creed_az_88's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I have only shot fixed blades... sorry to say I have had failures on hits... but I cant blame the broadhead just the shot placement
