while the new fees hit me with sticker shock, I do not agree with the bullet points of the topic (as they speak in absolutes and rarely is anything absolute). didn't an independent agency audit the game and fish and found there was waste to a tune of $1 million? That may seem like a large number but what percent does this actually represent 1-2% of the operating budget (It am not sure.... asking). Also I drive a fleet vehicle for work and often get a new car every year and have gotten 2 in one year... the fleet company makes the decision to sell and buy the vehicles for what I assume is the fixed amount the company I work for pays them.... while logic would question the frequent new cars... GE Fleet is in business to make money.... does the Game and Fish use a fleet company? can anybody name one agency that is performing very well?

Having a hard time determining which Eberlestock pack to get. It will be for day hunts purposes. Rifle and bow hunting, normally carrying more gear (son's gear also) but that is changing now....he's gonna be caring mine, but still looking for a pack to hold a little more. Appreciate you sharing your Eberlestock pack and why you like or don't like it. I am leaning towards the X2 or the J series packs. Redman

nice thing about the KUIU is you can add a different sized pack from 1850 to 7200 and still use the same frame.... I really don't think there is ONE pack for all uses. good thread keep the info coming

I recently sold a " Just One" to a CWT member... really liked the pack but it weighed 7lbs by itself, great pack, but I could get a new pack loaded with spotting scope and tripod for the same weight as the Just One. After selling the the Just One, I looked at every pack on the market, (not to sound like a snob, but money was not factor). Long and short I bought the KUIU 1850, got a great deal on Ebay. However, I REALLY like the Croked Horn master guide pack....and almost choose it. The price is great and the features are nice. Really??? do we even need to discuss the basketball programs at the Arizona Universities. There is absolutely no comparison.... unless the comparison is between ASU and NAU. Since 2000 ASU has appeared ONE more time than NAU in NCAA Basketball Tournament.

archery you are golden... rifle you have about a 4% chance... expect for 2 units that offer great odds, but that is all based on how people applied last year. all it takes is letting people know which units those two are....are you odds are back at 4%.
