I bought my Ranger off Craigslist. It had around 100 hrs and now how almost 1000? My Ranger is a tank and has been very reliable. I have maintained it by the hour.... I think they are reliable, you can tell how its been maintained and driven. I am sure if somebody was to look at mine they would be second guessing because of the nicks and scratches Look underneath a Ranger look for damage you can get a lot of info from underneath.

3 years ago did a Montana elk hunt (guided). Flew Aligent out of Mesa Gateway.... that airline will try to suck every dollar out of you (charge for a assigned seat, charge to book on line, etc).....not sure what is the closest city to your unit. I flew into Missoula . Killed a bull, gave about half of the meat to the guide and outfitter. Bought two ice chests and weighed them with dry ice to right at the max pounds. Checked them as luggage and everything was fine. I could not drive because of time... flying was easy and quick and gas prices were high that summer so it was cheaper also. Good luck

my son turns 10 in Nov, he completed the course in Feb when he was 9, he entered the Elk / Antelope draw this year (did not draw, but got a BP).

I have been putting in for NM for years... easy to draw the deer tags. No luck with elk. This year my app was linked with a friend /coworker a resident of NM.... sure enough we drew... luck or coincidence ..??? I am just happy I drew.

What is the best bow sight out there?
Redman replied to ylclaret's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
All the sights mentioned are great sights, I have owned Hogg, Axcel and TruGlu.... finally settled Sureloc (modified lethel weapon max) for the past 4 years it has treated me well. Its a slider, I have three pins and the 3rd pin is movable from 50-120 yds (dialed in exactly to 2yd measurements). It can easily be calibrated based on speed of a bow. As my eyesight has waned over the years, the fewer pins seem to help. Plus its fun to shoot against friends at long range targets as I can shoot to 97 yds, 83 yds, 105 yds...etc (without guessing). http://www.sureloc.com/shop/hunting-sights -
I will take the boots if you still have them!!!!

Are bipods really worth the extra weight?
Redman replied to AZ_SAWBUCK's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
If you planning to take a long shot a bipod is a must IMO, I'd rather locate an area 25-50 back yds to get a good shot off a nice surface (if time allows) than to shoot from an unsteady position. My son always struggled from shooting sticks or a tree, etc. everything he has shot off a bi-pod has flopped on the ground with one shot, his elk this year was 500 yds away dumped it in one shot, missed a giant buck at 300 yds off shooting sticks.... next deer was smoked from bipod -
such a tragic event and yet the 'politicking" has already begun, before any indication of who could have done this, individuals in the media jumped to label the "right" instead of labeling in extremism.... a collapse is probably what will have to happen before the lemmings turn on him...its slowly happening in some liberal segments. Until the bubble bursts for the stock market nothing is going to happen.... just wonder how CNN, MSNBC and others will spin the collapse on the GOP....

I understand the Beirut bombing was a terrible loss for US Service Men.... So why not cuss and use profanity on this forum then... its a big world..... we do not need to lead by example or be good role models for impressionable young ones....
-
I am not sure if the message was offensive of the first word to the couple..... being a parent of young ones, I find the first word not appropriate to be on the back of vehicle for all to read.

$20,000 auction tag. seller has name rec(?) but zero feedback
Redman replied to biglakejake's topic in Bighorn Sheep Hunting
There are a lot of Mexico hunts being offered in actions and raffles.... ADA had a couple of non-USA hunts. I have hunted with Sonora Dark Horn in Jan 2012 and had an absolute great hunt from start to end. Raul constantly has shows on the Sportsman Channel and SDH is a first class operation. There is no credibility they need to gain. I was in camp when Pat Boyer and Jim Burnwoth were there. I did not spend any time with Jim, but Pat was a good dude and his son and I shared a room, Zack was very cool.. I only wish Tiffany Lakosky was in camp when I was there....HAHA Maybe you should have done some research on an operation before suggesting they are corrupt... I doubt you would like some stranger attacking you. -
I just wished I knew if I would draw a deer tag.... I would email PETA and give them the exact coordinates I would be hunting so I could shoot it... that would be fun
-
..... I did not make the rules A bonus point can be purchased at the time of drawn for $7.50 , no further action required. A bonus point is issued for applicants unsuccessful in the draw...not those that WERE SUCCESSFUL... if your card is rejected because you were successful and could not pay (even for reasons of no fault of your own....that is what happens).

yep that ref and the head ref just officiated their last PAC 12 game... this story will grow....Larry Scott is trying to quell the storm, Ed Rush is done! Even with that, UA achieved every expectation this year.... however expectations are now very high and a final four appearance is expected in the next two years. Sean Miller is a recruiting stud and great coach. Funny Erickson was fired at ASpoo and Herb with the same record is still employed. Just goes to show how little ASpoo thinks of basketball.

Looks like the UA just got a super stud of a recruit rated the 4th best player in the country. http://azstarnet.com/sports/blogs/pascoe/five-star-recruit-gordon-picks-arizona-wildcats/article_df9d2718-9baf-11e2-b856-001a4bcf887a.html

Once you look thru the 12's the 15's will not come out again, the HD lens are so much brighter and crisper than the 15's.... you will use your 12's and your spotter.

I agree. However, the paper option has a few minefields as well. The data entry clerk might transpose a number or two. Rare, but I'm sure it's happened. I like the online option as it gives me total control in the data entry. If I screw up, I screw up. However, if a bank gets "trigger happy" and deems 3 charges as fraud....you're screwed. So here's a solution: Continue the online process, but add the option to pay with an electronic check. Thousands of businesses use this every day. I pay alot of bills this way. Its fool-proof. Enter the Routing/Transit number and your account number. Funds are withdrawn immediately from your checking account. It's the same as writing and sending a paper check. Only faster. Now a person has total control of ALL the data and funds. As long as there is a balance in your checking account at the time you complete your application, there is ZERO chance of error. AZG&F has the money, your app is complete and accurate since its done online and you don't have to worry about getting a hit on a CC that may or may not deem the charge as fraudulent. There is no one entering numbers ... It is all digital OCR scans and G&F has a copy of every app... Try to say you made no mistake and they will send you a PDF showing the actual copy of your application and you will see for yourself as we did when one person did not use SS # but put the hunters ID. OCR now days is over 99% accurate and if the PDF comes up showing no error and that an error happened on G&F side they will remedy it. You are correct, a paper application is assigned a number, the G&F can tell based on you app number if you would have been drawn for a hunt number that was not on you application. Two years ago I drew a deer tag that I did not apply for. Called them up, immediately pulled up my application and was told your correct you did not apply for that unit. At that time I was told they would need to call me back, when they did (two days later) I was told I would not have been drawn for my two choices and I could keep the tag I was drawn for (forfeit my bonus points) or return for a refund. I was a little bummed because I had put in for Dec hunts and they would surely give me a Dec tag..... I can guarantee next year somebody will have the unfortunate event of a credit card reject....

North Korea is tryin' to F@#! on us!!!
Redman replied to 123456's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Kim Dong is planning to strike Austin, Texas also. Imagine being born and raised in a country like North Korea where EVERYTHING you learn, do and come in contact is soley based on what the oppressive government allows you to. Then you would believe Dong could strike Austin.... The real problem is N Korea has enough artillery aimed at S Korea that can obliterate Sourel in a matter of hours. That would screw the worlds fragile economy..... -
Nice try worm, losing to the Big 10 champ, a final 4 team last year, 4 straight sweet 16, and surely another final 4 team is such a let down..... ASU basketball has and always will be irrelevant
