In-Line, Thompson Center are hard to beat. I have the Omega and its very easy to care for and clean. Never have had any problems. Loading the primers in a rush can be difficult, but have gotten off three shots before. A buddy has the Encore, after watching him shoot and reload. If you can afford it, get the Encore. Probably the best advice I can give you is to use Blackhorn 209. It makes cleaning the gun so much easier. http://www.blackhorn209.com/ Another buddy does not have an in-line (think its a Remington) that thing is a pain the butt to clean.... good luck

It can be very frustrating.... what units does your dad put in for? After reviewing the odds it seems there is only a marginal improvement of drawing between 12-19 points and in some units there are virtually no better odds of drawing with 20 points vs 10 (unit 34B)... I maybe reading the odds incorrectly. Either way even with max bonus points the odds are nothing to get too excited about, take 17A there is a 4% chance of drawing with 20 points... that means there is a 96% chance of not drawing... Never looked at Nevada's system... There is more demand than supply.

One can read into as they may, but one line sums it up enough for me. "But this situation is unacceptable and our customers deserved better. my son shoots a very similar setup, and has good luck with 2 inch blazers and with right helico. we flecth them with the AZ EZ Pro Mini. The 2 inch blazers hold up to the whisker biscuit very well.

I learned my lesson two years ago with the deer draw....was sitting in the pre-op area waiting for surgery.... get a call from my buddy, deer results are posted, whats your info.... gave it to him.... you got drawn.... my reply awesome Dec tag for me (as I only put in for dec hunts)... get a call back in a few minutes.."you got a 31 Nov Tag" what???? after my surgery...first thing I do once I get home is pull the copy of my app out....yep I only applied for Dec hunts.... call G&F....they run the numbers and call me back, we made a mistake, you would not have been drawn, you can keep the tag or return it for a bonus point... now with the on-line process this should never happen unless I made the mistake....
