They were not spying...THEY CHEATED, they hid in the stadium, video tapped the team's (Rams) walk thru the day before the superbowl, got their signals and prepped the team with videos. There is a reason Roger G. had the tapes destroyed, they cheated soooo much and so blatant it would have damaged the game more that it did. You ask for reasons, then when provided say... well that''s not the reason... what have they won in the last 7 years since they got caught cheating 0-2 in superbowl. humm I think there is a correlation.

Could not have said it better...plus this...the wife of Tommy B calling out players on the team... http://thebiglead.com/index.php/2012/02/06/gisele-rips-patriots-receivers-for-dropped-passes-after-super-bowl-loss-video/ “You (have) to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball. My husband cannot (bleeping) throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.” How about the intentional grounding for a safety and the interception...

Thanks gents... had the opportunity to look / glass with the Kowa Big Eyes and was impressed. Do you have a Kowa? They are the same price as the others... what made you pick the Kowa?

hate to disagree with ya, but I looked at all side by side.. yes all are great scopes!!. But I found significant differences on 20x power between the Vortex and Leupold and Zeiss, there was clearly a difference in clarity and brightness on 20x, it just wasn't there with the Vortex... i was so disappointed because I had my mind set on the PST 6-24x50 as it had a 30 mm tube with all the sweet features.. really wanted to look at the Razor, but it would have been out of my price range anyways. if you would have told me this last year I would have went with the Vortex...that was until this year when right at dark I found a really really good buck and could see him in my binos (swaros) and it was very hard to see in my scope which at the time was a Bushnell Elite 4200... so when I looked at all three ( Vortex, Zeiss and Leupold) at high power close to dark.... my mind was made up on the Leupold (but the Zeiss was just as bright)

I have had a Viking and currently have the Jayco Baja 10C.. The viking had the best Canvas I have seen on a pop-up. I have been happy with the Jayco, I have had it for almost 8 years, its been everywhere and in places it shouldn't have (rough areas).. not much problems with screws losing up as with the Viking, but it does have suspension which really helps the bouncing around. It has an AC unit but I never use it, I wish now it did not have one due to the extra weight. It has a shower and a toilet... wife love the toilet the one time a year she goes out.. it has an inside and outside shower, but believe me during some hunts I would never shower outside...to cold. its nice to turn on the stove and heater let it heat up then shower. I would strongly recommend a pop-up with a front deck..it is nice to store extra items or a quad on the deck. also a quite generator makes all the difference in the world. I hardly never use propane anymore, just setup flood lights and run the generator and lights up camp very nice...much cheaper than propane. I wish my generator was bigger (like a Honda 2000) to run a coffee pot and microwave...sounds silly but it would simplify things and save time. When I bought mine I was looking at all brands and there was something wrong with the colemans roofs...but I think that problem has been corrected. I find the HI LOs very interesting...all the advantages with a low profile tow and appear very easy to setup.

that was cool..congrats to Parker! -
you may want to try archery talk.com and perform a search. there are pros and cons on it.... seems like more cons than pros. I was very interested in one but after looking at it in more detail decided not to. Good luck.

that's a great scope scoutm recommended...i literally spent weeks deciding on which scope to get within the same budget... I went with the Leupold with the 30mm tube only because it had more MOA adjustment.... really like the Zeiss tho.

I have sent my Swaros in twice, once they fixed for free (second time I sent them in). $75 is the standard lens replacement cost. I am gonna send them in again soon because I chipped my lens and I can see it....I am expecting a charge though. Lecia, Nikon, Vortex and Pentax all have NO FAULT warranty...

now that is nice, I like to glass from my bow, but hate to damage my cam....gonna need a closer look

If FOC really made this much of a difference than the FOBS would be the worst "vane" on the market. They're not. And like the Blood Vane, the FOBS made some advancements in vane replacement and eased the burden of fletching. I thought about FOC when I got them. However, the new ones are lighter than the proto-types I first tried out. Both have shot fantastic! And from what I found, the extra 15+ or - grains made no difference in my arrow flight from when I was shooting Blazers. That being said, it was much less than 15 grains difference. But you got me thinking about some things. So I did some comparison.... 3 Blazer vanes- 19 grains 1 Blood Vane- 31 grains Difference of just 12 grains. Fletched Blazer shaft- 287 grains Fletched Blood Vane shaft- 296.4 grains Difference of 9.4 grains NOT 12 grains (this might be explained below AND factoring in glue). I then measured 6 bare shafts of the same length and nock. These are PSE Radial X weave Pro shafts and standard nocks. I found they were all within 4 grains of eachother. Just 4 grains. I then took 3 different nocks. The standard that come on the X-weave shafts, a Beiter nock and a Gold Tip nock. Beiter- 10.8 grains GT- 12.0 grains PSE nock- 11 grains Difference of up to 1.2 grains. So MORE THAN HALF of the 9.4 grain difference involved here is out of our control. Tolerances aren't tight enough in this world out of a vacuum. Is it better to get everything as close as possible? Sometimes... Because only sometimes does the benefits far out-weigh the "disadvantages". FOC is like paper tuning, IMO. It's a great reference but we are far inferior for it to make a difference with what the FAR majority of us are doing. Bullet holes are nice but they don't always equate into accuracy or efficiency. Your FOC will change from a 100gr fixed broadhead to a 100gr field point. Crazy, huh? Not by much but the hairs we'll split are relative if you catch my drift from the numbers above. The inconsistencies we have in hand torque, release vs fingers, wind drift, arrow spine, bow tuning, etc.. are all factors that positively or negatively affect FOC. If I sound argumentative, I apologize. Not my intentions. Just thought I'd share with you what I've come up with. Hey Tines, Thanks for the reply..you don't sound argumentative. My Blazer vanes weigh 4.6 grams each (x3). I do not use wraps. Easton X Nocks 8 grains. So the difference for my setup is pretty significant (I shoot Easton FMJ 340 shafts, 100 grain broad head). I use Archer's Advantage program and my FOC is on the very low side (use the program for sight tapes). I can tell a difference in arrow flight with lighted knocks (adding 10 more grains). However you asked a key point about advantages, I have no problems with my Blazers (use RipCord Rest so there is no vane contact) and other than shooting them off when I target shoot or miss the target and the arrow hits the ground. I fletch my own arrows with Arizona EZ Flecth with extreme helical. I can fletch a dozen in about 30 minutes. I have nothing against blood vanes, but as you said, I would have to see the advantages and in this case just do see them (and did not see it with the FOBs either). Redman

31 grains.... that's pretty heavy. My FOC is already pretty poor with Blazers at 15 grains...

That's cool...love the dog in the last picture

"have no concept" what a moron to say that in the opening paragraph.....

I guess you need to ask yourself a question, do I want a cell phone for being out (camping, hunting, etc) or a phone for in town. Verizon has by far the best coverage, then AT&T and Sprint. What about two phones, one with an unlimited plan like Sprint then a prepaid verison... Either way you need a verizon phone or a satelite phone because the other providers suck in the hills.

once you get a brake installed, you will be sure to always have ear protection.... which is a good thing because before I put a muzzlebreak I would shoot without hearing protection (when hunting).... the brake tamed my 300 WSM and I love shooing the gun....I even bought a .25-06 because I did not like to shoot the 300 WSM before the brake, now I am going to sell the .25-06 and build a new 300 WSM or 300 RUM with a brake

Kansas is brutal in the winter and as already said, a lot of private land. Depending where in Seattle, it could be a good choice. Washington has better hunting and I prefer the west more than the midwest.
