thanks it has been well maintained - truck is 20+ years old and has <170K - oil and transmission fluid changed more because of time vs miles (which was probably not needed). Just need to get it listed...

I got a 2001 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with 5.3L - automatic- 166K miles- other than ball joints never left me stranded. She is not pretty - road hard but always maintained - decent tires - needs nothing - I would drive it to LA tonight. Just sitting on side yard - again she not pretty multiple dents, paint faded and interior rough (seat covers covering it) - motor and tranny strong - looking to get just above your low price range - been debating putting it for sale- it was my first new truck I bought in 2001 - but never drive her anymore with a new truck and SXS. Last 8 years was justing a hunting truck (licensed and insured passed emissions)

Thanks it was hard to leave the MTN with an evening to hunt, but it has been terrible in the evening- could have sat water which is very deadly... but decided to come homw- no need to get home at 11p-12 with school and work tomorrow.. if we killed would have been a rodeo. Next week we give it heck!

My son has a 5BS tag- on opening day - good bugles in the morning - son had a 6x6 at 40 but he feed the wrong way (towards us, busted us ) had a spike at 15 yds (pass) chased a few more - shut down at 7:30 am. In the afternoon two guys beat us to our water hole and shot a bull (we set up our blind in the morning but they sat in a natural blind- they alerted us as we were walking in , we backed out and they killed- we heard the crashing). few bugles right at dark. Saturday - sparse bugles in the morning - managed to get 60 yds from a nice bull but needed to close the final 10 and got busted- bulls shut down around 7, but it began to rain and they started again, once the rain stoped the bulls stopped. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SAT night - not a peep - we ran into 3 groups of hunters around Pine MTN- one of the worst evenings ever- and I have had some terrible evenings... Sunday (this) morning- decent bugles, we were in the cedars - got close to a bull but no shot - then the elk moved on. later we ran into 2 sets of hunters. We came home - my son is a is a freshman at UA can't miss but one class and we chose next week as the one class to miss. Mosquitoes are absolutely horrible - opening day I wore one layer and they bit me through my hat and shirt, applied 100% deet -as I sweated it must of washed off- torn us UP! I probably was bit 100 times... no joke. Sat and today wore two shirts and carried bug spray with me and sprayed it on multiple times. We will be up Thursday and will have 4-5 days to get one down. WOW - OMG! Congrats man!

Mosquitos are horrible this year - I haven't been worried about the scent and sprayed 100% deet on 3 times (heavy amounts) and still got tore up not sure if my deet lost its potency. Will try the stuff above -

We found this buck 2 months from opening day, then we found him a month later in the same spot. Night before the hunt he was back. Opening morning we had a little trouble finding him, coyotes were chasing the herd all around, one lone doe seemed to be following us, then she started running and 23 ears and 1 set of horns appeared over a knoll- dropped then crawled about 50 yds, an old ant hill provided a shooting lane without grass in the way. Shot was at 7:01 am - hunt over. I don't now much about antelope - I am very fortunate to have good friends help me - The hot scouting trips and helping the day of the hunt. Also appreciate all the help CWT members shared and offered! Great time- need some draw luck to have another tag in AZ- can't wait for Wyoming / Utah and New Mexico someday.

The Ranger had a few things that were better, but overall the Honda is nicer - except for the heat (it is hotter because of where the motor is- which is a poor design) I have only changed the fluids and air filter once a year so it runs about $150 in maintenance- I

interesting twist -does anyone know what is the rule if the shot is further than 1/4 mile away but the animal wasn't? Do both have to be 1/4 mile?

So decided to go with AC Kings - 2 brothers own the company (younger gents) - they installed it on Friday and it has been fantastic. I highly recommend them - they offer a very competitive price, cleaned up as they were not here. I had two 1 pound bottles of H4831 never show- UPS said no one was home - then took the package to CVS - CVS never got it- not sure where the breakdown was, but luckily the sender did have insurance and we got it straightened out, but I was most upset as he didn't have anymore and it was hard to come by.

Blackhorn is the way to go! I can get 5 shots without swabbing but normally swab between shot- with other propellents 3 shots was tough I weigh it vs. measuring by volume- currently running 112 grains by weight (don't use this much in a standard ML). My ML shoots as good as my 300WM and 6.5x.284 (to 500 yds). Good luck - it can be hard to find.

i guess he thought it was working- he checked the temp from the vent - said it was 59 degrees and left- it was covered under home warranty - I turned the unit off for 8 hours thinking it may have been frozen (still) - turned it back on a few moments ago- it is 81 degrees on that side of house-will see what happens- I will call the warranty company this morning if doesn't start dropping. came to the conclusion new units needed... ouch

It was low charge- the tech said he put over $1K in freon in (under home warranty)... the temp was 80 when I turned it back on and it's still 80 (3 hours later) something tells me it's not fixed.
