Funny I just was looking to do this....mine is 2.0 inches, but I put 1.5 and 2.0 in the ballistic calculator and the MOA clicks were exactly the same... from what I read its the middle of the rear objective to the middle of the bore. You can pull your bolt and insert a cleaning rod to measure.

I 100% recommend Todd, he put one on my 300 WSM and did a great job.... I did not enjoy to shooting that gun....however after the break, I love to shoot it, shot it yesterday and enjoyed the heck out of it. At $130 bucks you can't beat it. He also did some minor work on my rings/base.

I suggest going back to school and look into getting a RN or become a Medical Technologist. Your only 39, in two-three years you could get a very secure job in healthcare. not outdoors, but very flexible schedules and plenty of opportunities.
