Yeah Lisa Love really made the "all american linebacker" get fat and slow...she also made the QB erratic with happy feet.... ASU just plain sucks....even when the won the rose bowl...they could not beat UA.

what you gonna hunt? deer and jav then a arrow with a (total) weight of 380-400 grain (including broadhead) is what I prefer (gold tips carbon express and PSE are all great). Elk I like an arrow weighing 450 grains (Easton FMJ). I would visit Broken Arrow in AJ and I am sure the owner will help you pick the best arrow and cut them. Knowing the correct spine is very important. Also what rest is on your bow? Whisker Biscuit tend to be hard on vanes...Blazer vanes work best......

I sure you know, but the hunt starts on Dec 9...not this weekend. Depending on where you go in the unit roads are rough and very rough and there are some that have great roads. I would suggest bringing a quad or side by side if you can, be careful last year there were a couple of hunters that had to be air lifted out of the unit because they flipped their quads. There is a lot of water in the unit, also keep in mind there will be an archery hunt going on at the same time....water holes may be taken, but with a rifle I would glass the hills. Just curious what did you go with? been thinking of upgrading my scope (putting mine on my son's rifle). Has anybody used a Bushnell Elite 4500 compared to a Zeiss, Vortex, etc (I am sure the later are better, just wondering if anybody has seen the difference).

ASU fans are sore losers, their team completely under achieved this year, their fat linebacker read too many of his press clippings in the off season, bloated up to a slob...love that he whiffed on two TD's.... QB is marginal and their best player is gone. U of A sucks, but ASU sucks more.

How did you come up with that? General and muzzleloader deer hunts will occur on standard opening dates. When stratified, a series of 7-day hunts may occur throughout October and November with all hunts opening on a specific Friday. A December white-tailed deer hunt will open the Friday of week 50 and continue to the end of the year. The following seasons will be available: White-tailed or Mule Deer on Friday of week 43 (October 26, 2012 and October 25, 2013) White-tailed or Mule Deer on Friday of week 44 (November 2, 2012 and November 1, 2013) White-tailed or Mule Deer on Friday of week 45 (November 9, 2012 and November 8, 2013) Mule Deer on Friday of week 46 (November 16, 2012 and November 15, 2013) White-tailed on Friday of week 48 (November 30, 2012 and November 29, 2013) If only a single early deer season is selected in October or November, the season will run for 10 days. If a white-tailed deer season is offered during week 48, the season will run for 10 days. Antlerless elk seasons will not overlap with a general or muzzleloader deer season in units with hunts for both species. Season dates will be selected to avoid such overlaps. If the unit is managed under Alternative Hunt Management, 10-day seasons may also be used. If a deer hunt has unissued permits after the hunt has ended 2 out of 3 years after returning to an online application system, then those tags may be allocated to a December hunt structure the following year.

What did we do before internet? Oh wait, kids attended a 8 or 10 week course in person.... now they can take the course on-line and show up for a half day to pass the field course (that has always been mandatory).... seems like a the game and fish has done all they can to make it easier. Great idea....you should make it a dang good business running a hunter ed clinic...what would you pay to send your child to a hunter ed clinic...when they are offered for FREE now? (if you are complaining about having to OPTIONALLY drive to Tucson for a half day because of poor planing...imagine what people would say if they had to pay) I been through it with my son and about to do it again with another....just need to make it a priority. The time on a hunt with my son has been well worth the class

If it matters, the Winchester 100 grain ammo is cheap about 20 bucks a box...I would break it in with the same ammo / grain you intend to shoot.

Apache12, while I applaud you for your kids activity with sports, hunting and other activities, I believe your frustration with the Game and Fish in not fair. Your 12 year old had since he was 10 to take the test and attend a field day, there are summers and off season.... unless your 14 year old son is playing is the state championship....which I hope unless (is he on varsity at 14?) he plays for Hamilton (haha my son goes to Desert Ridge) drive to Mammoth and take the course. Stop at La Casitia and have a good meal.
