WOW!! Congrats!

Love my PSE EVO, Sure-Loc Sportsman Special, Rip-cord, PSE X Quiver...flinging Easton FMJ 340 (weighing 469 grains) with 100 grain WacEms at 275 fps. Just put the Ripcord on it, pretty satisfied with the Ripcord. Started with the Whisker Biscuit, but I was getting the group I would like...now stacking arrows on-top of each other at 30yds. I have a QAP HD on my X-Force, have to say I like the QAD better. I say this because the QAD has the thumb lever to cock the rest and let down, plus the cord that attaches to the down cable can be shorter but it costs almost $50 bucks more....

Wife's 2010 opening morning archery buck

dang!!! That is nice!! -
I use the dental rubber bands around the middle. Ya the ortho bands work well, you can also get crazy and use a dremmel to make little notches for them to fit into. While I can appreciate to each is their own....but I find it strange Rages are modified to be just like a Rocky Mountain Snyper (that cost much less).

That was awesome! Thanks for sharing.

Hands down Honda EU (I don't own one), I have a Kipor (similar) and its noise is manageable with a extension cord it becomes very quite. Honywell and others make a knock off of the Honda, look at the specs of each (what the db rating). Yamaha is supposed to make a good one. If I ever get another generator, it will be a Honda Andy

NM G & F OUT OF THE WOLF BUSINESS!!
Redman replied to huntswnm's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in New Mexico
Wish AZ would take lessons from NM....on-line draw, mandatory reporting and now suspending the waste of time and money wolfs.... -
I took the survey this morning....would have like the question of "do you think harvest reporting should be mandatory"

I would agree that is a great job by Wild Heritage. I hope to get a velvet buck mounted someday..... Congrats, Redman

Since I have gathered from many of your very knowledgeable post on guns....you demand top gear. I watched the "Best of the West" show last week and if money was no object I would get a muzzle loader from http://badbullmuzzleloaders.com/ ....but you can see the cost. BUT with that being said, I know nothing about the Knight, but I do use a Thompson Center Omega with a Nikon Omega BDC scope and really like it. I shoot Blackhorn 209, 120 grains (volume), Thompson Center Super Glide 250 grain, Remington primers. Haven't hunted all that much with it, but shot a nice mulley and a javillina. Recent practice showed that I can use/group the BDC at 200 yds (still got to try the 250 and 300 yds marks). The Omega is very easy to clean and the breach plug can be removed in a snap, Blackhorn has made all the difference. The first year I hunted with it I did not use a BDC reticle and missed some great bucks....50 yds with a ML can be a clean miss. I have since got the Nikon and its pretty amazing how accurate it is, got about $550 total into the ML. p.s. they do kick like a mule Good Luck. well dah....should have looked at your follow-up post. glad you got something you like. SO those TMZ are shooing well...was that the first sabot you tried?

What do you all think? http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemancom/detail.asp?product_id=2000005512

Sorry I'm with you, I would appreciate your feedback on the release. Did you want a back tension because of a specific reason?

I have a Sur Loc with 3 pins set at 20, 30 and 40. The 40 yd pin becomes the "slider pin" from 40 out to 120 yds. It can be adjusted in 2 yd increments. Takes about 3 seconds to range adjust and draw.... the only way I would go back to a true fixed pin is if the mountable rage finder (Vendetta) becomes easier or more practical to use.

Word is that little POS Sparky is getting bounced as the mascot for ASU! Plus other changes...

A buddy of mine had that hunt 2 years ago (6AS), he wanted a nice bull, he and I hunted on my bull hunt the year before in 3C so we both expected A LOT. First day had a smaller bull standing within 20 yds, he didn't shoot. Each day of the hunt he was into bulls, but something happened (wind, other hunters, shot was deflected off a branch, etc), the elk were not rutting like they were in 3C, I thought I was a champion elk caller as each day in 3C I would call in many bulls.....not so fast in 6A. He ended up not taking a bull. He complains today why he didn't take that opening day bull to get one under his belt. I would say if you have a chance at a bull that you are happy with, kill it. Keep in mind you got a bull tag, take a look at the number of cow tags there is going to be a lot of hunters. Its a bid unit and the elk do move a lot there. Good Luck, shoot straight and have FUN on the hunt. Redman

Tried to look at the FB page, but the link does not appear to be working. Hopefully that nasty disease can be knocked into remission and Bear will be just fine!
