well if you have multiple photos of the same people over 10 minutes starring into your cam i would say he's trying to steal it!! He does??? Then why is just one photo posted that does NOT show anything other a guy looking at it....three posts by a guy and you take his word with one photo??? Is this still America???? doesn't somebody have to be PROVEN guilty? If there are more pictures I will recant....I know my ugly mug has been caught on camera more than once just walking by...and I would sure hate to be accused that I stole something just by a SINGLE picture of me walking by or looking into a camera.

Better sell those Dallas tickets fast!! I think a 1-14 team will draw a lot of people -
Not sure why I did not do this earlier....wished I had before I just ordered a new pair of lens caps....at $14.00 bucks each I could have save over $35.00 (shipping). I have replaced the lens caps on my swaros multiple times, today I found a fix that I think will last. Hope somebody finds this useful. I had one lens cap torn off from the rubber band holding it to the ring that goes around the objective and the other was about to 1/2 of the way torn. I took some electrical tape (high quality) and cut it into small strips. I ran the tape around the ring and down each side of the rubber strap (beginning and ending at the lens cap, like a "U" shape). I repeated three times. Then I took the tape and wrapped it around the rubber strap (with the tape on it) sideways multiple times (to hold the tape on the rubber strap). I can pull hard on the lens cap and it will not separate from the ring and they still function easily going on and off the binos. Redman

Bellota, you can do whatever you want - but the PM tool has been almost exclusively used for instances like your willingness to advise on locations. No one is criticizing your willingness to help others be successful - we are all for it. But you obviously are not paying attention to how many e-scouters come on here looking for tips because they don't want to do the work. Look at the bottom of the screen and you can see from time to time that there are guests who are reading this post who are not registered and they are just skimming for tips on where to go. Amanda could probably give us some stats on how many skimmers come onto the forum. If they don't take the time to scout - they probably don't take the time to know the rules - they probably don't take the time to be courteous to other hunters - they probably don't take the time to practice shooting and they are probably not the kind or type of hunter I want slinging bullets in my area. That said...it is a free country. This topic has been viewed over 2000 times (one can see the number "views" from the main Rifle Hunting Screen". Maybe all 475 tag holders have viewed this topic....with the access issues in 32....maybe all will stop by and say hey to Bellota!

+1 +2 Yeah this is just a brag board for people to post pictures of 100+ inch deer....and a place for people to complain that their trail cam get messed with....do not ask for help!

A lot has changed in the past 20 years, specifically in the last 5 years. Trail cameras are now inexpensive to the point most people can put them out (I have seen them on clearance for $50), shoot some have better quality cameras than the average digital camera used for taking family leisure pictures. Its only a matter of time before trail cam technology will allow pictures taken on a trail cam to immediately be sent to a phone or computer (I know this is already available but soon this will also be inexpensive). Then whats gonna happen.....As technology changes, maybe the regs should change? Redman

Maybe something has changed besides a few little noise suppression trinkets...

Would you pay someone to develop/reload for you
Redman replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I would consider it, depending on price and how long it would take (plus who is doing it). It almost seems the factor loads have caught on as they are now making more bullets. Redman -
Today I found a Outdoorsman (brand) tripod on a road in unit 31...if you lost it, let me know. Redman

I had that same pack two years ago, the squeak became louder and louder. Its a design flaw according to Badlands, I called Badlands and that was what I was told (after speaking with the guy for some time). The customer service rep said 1. I could send it back and they can "lubricate" between the frame and the fabric, but the squeak will probably come back. 2. Send me a new Hypervent pack as not ALL of the Hypervent squeak. 3. Send me a new different pack....now I am a proud owner of a Superday pack. The Hypervent is a geat pack feels really good, and I like the tube to put my tripod in, but that squeak drove me crazy. Call Badlands, they will take care of you. Their customer service is fantastic. Redman

Got out there in the late-mid morning, didn't see much at all. However, my main goal for the day was to my bearings of the unit / roads etc. I have a few more weekend to scout before Nov. Next time I will be there before sunrise.... Redman

At the Phoenix ISE show a group of us booked a bow-fishing trip to California for sharks (http://www.makomattsmarine.com/page%201.htm). This past weekend we went to Long Beach to give it a try. We meet up with Matt at 4 am and embarked on our trip. We traveled about 30 miles out in the Ocean and began chumming. After a few hours of observing the chum line, a Mako presented itself. My friend Warner shot it and basically killed it (it was alive but did not put up a fight) it was really exciting to see a shark shot with a bow. After we got the shark in the boat we began chumming again. A hour or so went by and another shark came in, but did not stay long and so the chumming continued. After another hour or so, another Mako came in (it was guesstimated at 100 lbs, but still a smaller shark as Matt took a giant 500 pounder on Wednesday). Fortunately this shark was hungry and stayed around after I had missed a few times, the shot was less than 5 yds, but the with the movement of the boat and the angle of the shark in the water, it took a few times for me to get the hang of it. Finally my arrow connected and another friend reeled it in (with a fishing pole). After fighting the shark to the boat, (that's when the real fun began) we each shot it again with a regular arrows and broadheads. Mako Matt wanted to keep chumming as he felt a large shark was lurking around , but after another few hours nothing presented itself and we called it a day. We arrive back at the dock around 3 p.m. This was a great trip and will be going back, but for a "deep water" trip. For a deep water trip you go out much further and that is where the 800+ pounders live.... I would book again with Matt in a heart beat (he also books regular fishing trips) Hope you enjoy the pics....

Thanks Jim, it was pretty darn cool...Mako Matt told us the price would be about double ($1,500-$2000) to go way out after the 500-1000 pounders with most of the cost going towards fuel and chum. Redman
