Took the Martinez family out for their first couesdeer hunt, his boy shot a 2x3 and as we were walking out two deer jumped up and a spike went right instead of left like the other one did, deer veal it was for dad Martinez. Found 12 deer in this quiet un-hunted bowl and 5 were bucks, they missed an 80 buck but got the 2x3 abs the smallest buck in the lot, a spike. Ironically they shot two mule deer 2 years ago right across the highway. The mule deer were killed within 30 minutes of each other and the coues were an hour apart. Pretty cool

Trevor Weston of NY through Hunt of a Lifetime got it done! Congratulations to Trevor and his dad Pat, so happy and proud of all he is going through! I can't thank everyone involved enough! They made their stay one heck of an enjoyable one! They stayed with one amazing family, the Randall's and made life long friends with many more people. My brother Danny, the Randall's, the Stone's, Ms Allaire, Ms Hereford, Mr Beard, Mr Bennet, many more that helped out and made a big difference in Trevor's life. They saw javelina for the first time and enjoyed the beautiful country in and around Payson. I can't thank my daughter enough, she donated her tag when she knew she wouldn't be able to make the hunt and made it possible for everyone involved to become lifelong friends! Dallas, Cody, Myles, Garrett, Ezra, thank you for helping Trevor cut up and pack out his elk Cody called in for him to shoot at 187 yards away. One shot, one elk down!

Hunt of a Lifetime is a good organization to donate to, I just took a young man out on a 22S muzzleloader hunt after my daughter donated it. He was successful and very grateful for all the out pouring of help from the community of Payson.

Anyone have a rental in the Payson area for the September muzzleloader hunt? I'm taking a 14 year old boy from back East with Hunt of a Lifetime out to fill this tag. Probably need it for a week 9/14-9/21, not sure what dates they'll be out here. Any CWS discounts will be greatly appreciated, lol. Thanks, Tony
