Hi everyone, i drove to Colorado for my son's soccer last weekend, we drove to durango and up to wolf creek pass and down to denver but i have to say what a beautiful country also if anybody has any tips or info about hunting high country mule deer, i will like to do a backpack hunt there before i get to old, like to know about units, hunter ed is a must but do i have to go there? or you can do it online? about units, which units are good to go? don't want to kill a trophy but have a good and memorable hunt then if we get a big deer is a plus, this will be an archery hunt may be next year or 2017. please if anybody has any tips, or guys that had hunted there maybe share opinions. thank you and hope to hear from you guys.

how about units? any of those units along the continental divide look good, saw quite a few dead deer on the road coming down from wolf creek pass.

i used to have one and yes shoots 3.5 shells.

my plan runs 127.33 a year with the rescue included, so far nothing happen and didn't have to use it, and want to keep it like that.so far everytime i send a signal it worked.

i have been using the spot since the beginning about 8 years or more, always worked and never had a reliability problem, it always worked great, i would recommend it.

does anybody use the Hornady amax 208 grain in 30 caliber for hunting? Asking because they don't recommend for hunting and if yes what are the results looking to use in a 300 win mag or my other choice was the accubond lr 210 grain but can't find them Thanks for any input

Predator, with the otc tag he can also hunt 4a and 4b and they are all close to each other, i'm going up on saturday with the otc tag and plan to hunt 2 of those units.

My son's team just won state cup with his team, the Scottsdale Blackhawcks, it is a great accomplishment for them, just thought share with you.

he is a junior in high school. this is the year college coaches do most of the recruiting and the coach from the air force academy has been e-mailing him, i think that would be great if he decides to go there and get accepted.

i bought a honda last november and used it on one hunt so far, went into some nasty roads and never used the 4x4, i bought it 4x4 because is a piece of mind but so far never used it. agreed with firstcoues hondas are fantastic.

I was wondering when fall regs come out, since didn't get drawn for elk i'm a little anxious about the deer hunts.
